Sweet hotel. Two of the cutest pups met us to welcome us to the hotel. Very charming and we hope to come back.

Beautiful old hotel in a beautiful scenic area of Maine. Very close to Acadia National Park. Park Ranger told us it was haunted, but we had a peaceful, ghost-free experience. Kids took a morning swim in the well-maintained outdoor pool. Breakfast was just grab and go style. 10/10

A wonderful, quiet place just a couple of miles north of Acadia NP and not just a paradise for golfers. Unfortunately, their restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the staff at reception gave us a couple of useful hints. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the deck is breathtaking! Will be back on our next visit!

The Lucerne Inn is a charming and well-maintained hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The surrounding views are peaceful and very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast is simple but decent, with fruits, cereal, bottled juice, coffee, and a few frozen breakfast items. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided good service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay.

This was a spectacular beautiful historic Inn built in 1818 with the most beautiful view of the mountains and Phillips lake from our window and it has a beautiful fine dining with the best food I had over all in Bangor! The Mother’s Day brunch was to die for! We definately look forward to staying here again on our next visit! As a historical place I had to learn how to use the shower sprayer, but after the 1st time it was no problem. The staff was super friendly and be sure and ask them about Nathan the old caretaker who murdered his wife and her lover in room 8 then committed suicide in room 5! I highly recommend this place! Just keep in mind during the winter months and downtime season the dinningroom and bar area are closed on Monday and Tuesdays.

This small, historic building was a refreshing change from all the corporate-owned lodgings. The staff were very friendly and helpful (including the two welcoming dogs who functioned as greeters). The winter salad and blueberry pie were phenomenal!
