The room was very spacious! The location was very nice where we didn’t walk far from stores as well as public transportation stops. Valet parking was included in our reservation so we didn’t have to worry about extra charges. They even kept our bags while we explored the city since we had a later flight. Customer service was efficient and would come back to stay again!

We were glad to get early check in. The valet was great, but driving in was a super tight turn in our pick up and the exit ramp was a super steep uphill. Would certainly stay there again

This hotel was affordable and fun. We were in town for just one night for a concert at Providence Park, which was easily within walking distance. The interior design of the hotel is super eclectic, funky retro. Lots of fun over the top. The valet service was very convenient, the $15 included snacks could have been omitted- I’d rather buy my own snacks for less. There was a strange outlet situation in our room where either the lamp or the refrigerator oils be plugged in but not both. Otherwise, beds comfortable and clean, bathroom well appointed, overall excellent stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking my pickup truck was difficult, but worked out well. Our room was very clean, and very spacious. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The front parlor was a great place to relax-beautiful place read and talk.

Nice, friendly hotel and the location is excellent. It's right in the heart of Burnside. Powell books is right around the corner, Classic Collection Hats is close by too. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and a big beer garden with 20 food trucks and picnic tables.

The staff were the best part of my visit. The hotel is an older building that has been thoroughly updated (except why are there no USB ports with the plugin's. Questions and issues were quickly and happily answered.

My girlfriends & I planned a vacation to Portland & randomly chose the Royal Sonesta for the quirky decor. We had no idea that we were in for such a special & beautiful vacation. Everything was truly luxurious & magical. Staying there was an experience. Fredrick, Austin & Dustin at the front desk were always helpful & friendly with all of our special requests. We chose 3 King Premiere Suites, 2 of which were adjoining, that featured a massive bathroom, full living room with a couch, coffee table, 2 chairs & a table & our bedroom with French doors off to the side. We utilized all of the space in all of rooms many times. When we were tired from a day of walking through downtown & museums, we got takeout & ate together in one of our rooms. We had a movie night in one of the rooms another night. 2 of our rooms didn’t come with a coffee maker, but upon request, a Keurig was delivered to each room with real cream & dark roast coffee. The bathroom was well appointed with incredible toiletries, a hair dryer, and loads of fluffy, fresh towels. The beds were cozy with fantastic pillows. Our first night we dined at Finch in the hotel lobby with Erick & enjoyed tee many delicious martoonies since we didn’t have to drive. The lavender lemon drop & the mojito were fantastic. We enjoyed our trip so thoroughly that we decided to make it an annual occasion at this very hotel & extend our vacation next visit. We can’t thank the staff or Sonesta enough for such a truly magnificent holiday.

I chose this hotel for my 3 friends and I based off prior online reviews and we loved every moment. The room was spacious and included 2 queens and a sitting room with a couch and 2 chairs. This was PERFECT for girls weekend and it gave us the space we needed to relax. The hotel was quirky and downright adorable. The location was close to everything and the staff was wonderful! Highly recommended!
