We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there on his trips between the Baltimore area and Philadelphia.

Everything about Wayside Inn is excellent. Joe is a gracious host. I recommend anyone wanting a nice quiet getaway from everyday bustle and hustle to check this place out. Joe: the breakfast was awesome quality ingredients and a well thought balanced meal. We will be back!!

My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊

I really enjoyed my night here! The room had so much charm, and the jetted tub and waterfall shower were lovely! The bed was very comfy and we slept very well! Breakfast was prompt and delicious! Joe was very accomodating! I would absolutely love to stay again, especially in the winter months when we could use the fireplace as well! Thanks for a lovely stay!
