We stayed in a corner room in Homie House with an entrance right off the lobby. The room was large, comfortable, airy, clean and had no fireplace. Inn lobby was also large and airy. The staff were professional and readily available. We spent two nights on our way to cape cod, and found it very easy to walk around mystic from this location. If we ever stayed in Mystic again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Whaler's Inn again.

The room was so clean and organized with nice service, especially the delicious cookies. The employees were so welcoming. They did update the rooms more appropriately. The house was so antiquated.

To commemorate our wedding anniversary, my husband and I stayed at the Whalers Inn. We are from Tampa, Florida, and it was our first experience visiting a mystic. The hotel's position, which was as near as you could get to all the stores and several excellent restaurants, was unbeatable to me. At Red 36, I oyster restaurant, and the engine room, we enjoyed wonderful meals. We also used the hotel's credit for breakfast twice at the Shipwright's Daughter restaurant. The Homie House's room was exactly as advertised on the website. The hot tub in the air jet stream was great. It was really refreshing and worth the additional cost for that room. The fireplace was an excellent addition. We had some cooler mornings and were happy to be able to open the windows to get some fresh air. There were many windows in the room. I think there are four. They were also great for streetwatchers. Everything was spotless, and the bed was cozy. Although there were not too dangerous stairs to the room, it might not work for you if you have difficulty with stairs. Given that so close to town, I thought it was quiet overall. There were a few noises from the bridge going up and down in the lobby, but we didn't mind. The lobby was a pleasant place to relax before getting out into town, and I believe this hotel accomplished it

We booked at the last minute at The Whalers Inn. We had a great one-night stay because the hotel was conveniently located just over the bridge. So next to all the great restaurants and shops of the city of Mystic. Our queen room in the main inn was on the second floor, spacious, immaculate, and comfortable. Moreover, the free parking behind the hotel, chocolate chip cookies and coffee in the lobby, and a convenient breakfast at the onsite restaurant were additional advantages. Allinol is an excellent choice in the area and we would come back.

I stayed at the Stonington home for three nights with my son. We had no issues with traffic noise because it is hidden from the main road. Additionally, there is little noise coming from nearby rooms. Rather than the chain hotels located above the aquarium, we wanted to remain in town. A nice-sized bathroom and a chic room are all present. There is also a mini-fridge. On-site dining credit is available to visitors at their restaurant. It was simply stunning when we had brunch there each morning. The waiters were all very welcoming and the food was delicious and fresh. The inns location is perfect for us. Numerous eateries and Mystic Seaport are close by, and the Seaport is only a short distance away. It's nice to be able to walk around town without worrying about traffic or parking because the evenings are lovely in Mystic. The inn's immediate lot is on the small side, but there is a second lot on the road behind. We discovered this only after being unable to locate a seat in the main lot. It would be wonderful if we were informed at the beginning of our visit.
