This place was a gem! New owners have done a lot of work and continue to improve property. It was beautiful especially at night, lights everywhere to enjoy the cool evenings. Waterfall was lit up. We watched the sunrise over Mono Lake from our front porch & it was gorgeous. Very clean, very safe.

Internet was ok. Had cellular service so I did my work meeting with no issues. Shops were like a mile away. Excellent view of the sunset and sunrise over mono lake. Quiet.

We stayed in one of the cabin, it’s small but cozy. It looked deserted when we checked in but turned out the lodge was fully booked. The sunrise right outside the door is beautiful. The lodge is right next to the road so you can hear the trucks/car passing. We were so tired from hiking that once we fell asleep , we woke up the next day , just had trouble sleeping from the car noise, luckily the road is not a busy highway. Bathrooms are large and spacey. There is a fridge , microwave, coffee maker , hair dryer and flash light provided. Plenty of outlets are there too. There is no cell service so had to stop by a gas station for direction, print the direction before you head this way. WiFi available at the lodge.

Really beautiful location. Staff always helpfully recommends getting up at dawn to watch the sun rise over Mono Lake. It really is worth it -just beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is just spectacular.

Great place to stay along the 395. Good sized cabin with a beautiful view of the sunrise over-looking mono lake. Owner is sweet and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.

I was the first guest of the season and the only person staying at the hotel so it’s hard to rate anything. As such I was upgraded to a really nice room that was super clean with very hot water very comfortable beds. The only downside of this whole place is that it’s right on route 395 so it’s very loud..

More than expected! The grounds of the lodge have lovely shade trees, multiple seating areas, a stream, and a great view of Mono Lake. The room was spacious and clean. Check-in was fast. Yes, there is a bit of road noise, but we played ocean sounds on the phone and slept soundly.
