Only room left at 11:30pm within 70 miles. Saved us from sleeping in truck. :)

The stay was acceptable in terms of a bed at the cheapest rate in town. There was some jerks that came back from the bar and decided to drink outside our room and remain LOUD between 2:15am and 2:45am.

Family-run hotel. Very nice people, and very accommodating. I see from some reviews that picky folk might be bothered that the decor is not the latest, and the tv is CRT instead of flatscreen, but the basics are there: clean room, comfortable bed, etc. And while they didn't provide breakfast on-site, with the money we saved by staying here, we got a great breakfast nearby at Schat's Bakery (down the street, and another one in the Friedman's Home Improvement store). There are some nice choices for a room in Ukiah, and we'll keep this one on our list!

It was in walking distance for the show and restaurants and in our price range

We enjoyed being walking distance of an organic vegan cafe across the street and the town plaza right behind us where they were showing an outdoor family movie. It was perfect for our family on a budget overnight stay in Ukiah. Everything was very clean despite being aged and outdated. There was wall paper peeled of the walls but there really wasn't any stains or dirtiness to complain of. We plan on staying there next year. Budget and location were our priorities. The air conditioner worked well but we left it on too high and woke up freezing. It was too bad it didn't have a temperature control device.

Not a modernized hotel clean but worn. It is a great value! Clean and quiet during my stay. I felt safe and could walk to downtown Ukiah, food coop, movies, and eateries. The front desk personnel were were personable and helpful. I was alone and on a mission to get training nearby. Price was probably my key determinant of value.

The only thing they needed was a little more soap and shampoo

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room in fair coditions with all necessary appliances (a coffee maker, a microwave and a mini-fridge), ideal price with convenient surroundings (grocery store and restaurants within walking distance); the only drawback, wireless internet connection nearly unavailable.

certainly not the fanciest place around, but cannot be beat for the price. I stay with some frequency, so one of the main pluses for me is the consistancy. I do reccommend bringing your own towels, otherwise, I cannot complain.

This place met my expectations for the price. It is clean and comfortable, and didn't seem sketchy at all, and I didn't have any problems with noise. Some parts (paint peeling in some areas) could use a little touch up, but for the price it wasn't a big deal. One thing though, the hotel needs to remove the mention of continental breakfast off this site, there is none.

You're not going here for the decor or facilities. You're going here, because you're on your way somewhere else and need a bed to sleep in, maybe a TV, a fridge and a coffee maker. Plus you want to save some money. This place delivers all that. My only complaint is that they were obviously not full (based on the amount of cars in the parking lot) yet they put the 6 or so occupants all next to each other. And this place has thin walls! Our neighbors were fine, but we could hear anything above a whisper and could hear the TV's from both sides. Everyone went to sleep at a reasonable hour, but I can only imagine what it'd be like with noisy neighbors! They could have easily spread us out a bit more. But, it's a clean, cheap, convenient place to stay. Blocks away from Safeway, Rite Aid and "downtown" Ukiah. I would stay here again and request a room away from others.

The room was not posh by any standard, but it had everything we needed - air conditioning (crucial), a mini-fridge, microwave, functional bathroom, etc. It was conveniently located in the center of the town and there were events going on in the nearby plaza all weekend. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

You get what you pay for. It was a cheap place to crash. There are zero amenities. meaning that basically you only get soap. There is no hair dryer. Pretty much just a bed, fridge and toilet. It was clean though and quiet. It worked for our needs at the time.

The motel needs work/renovation. I was surprised to see a TV that wasn't a flat-screen. BUT it was clean. For the price you really can't ask for much more.

It is what it is. The owners are personable and friendly but don't expect this place to be the Ritz. If you're expectations are in the right place, you'll find the Economy Inn to be what you pay for and that's about it. It served us fine, that's for sure.

Good location. Good staff. Reasonable rates. But the place is very very old. Some amenities did not work.

Teenagers snd others at city park ran to and from park on sidewalk directly outside bathroom window, and talking so loudly the seemed like they were in the room with me. Also, shower door did not latch , resulting in puddle on floor after shower. No shampoo. Bathroom sink faucets both had only hot water. Receptionist could not provide cross street, due to extreme language barrier. I will not return here.
