We booked the family suite and had our dogs and it was perfect. You were able to cook dinner and enjoy the local beaches. Super convenient for the Redwood national Forest.

Such a cute property in a gorgeous surrounding. We were only here for one night but contemplated extending our stay an additional night because we enjoyed it so much. The property has trails right outside your door but we were not able to explore this during our stay. Cute restaurants and amazing beach are a short drive away. We will definitely be back to visit here and decided that we’ll stay here again!

This motel is located in a redwood grove so this motel is worth considering. The rooms are clean and appropriately rustic. Our room had a full kitchen. The grounds have a fire pit, a bed and a number of places to sit. Suitable for a rustic stay.

This is my fifth or sixth time staying at this inn. The place is lovely with lots of fresh ocean air. Located in the pine forest with easy access to town and Patrick Point State Park. There is a kitchen in many units, a comfortable living area and a lot of outdoor extras such as croquet, fire pits and horseshoes. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

My mom and I enjoyed our one night stay at this wonderful motel inn a few miles from beautiful trinidad on Patrick Point Drive. We were so surprised to find this motel online rated 2 stars but should be 4 stars because it is clean, rooms are decorated with antique furniture, hardwood floors with nice rugs, 2 nice armchairs, nice big flat screen to watch the warriors, and very comfortable king bed with down comforter. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full size refrigerator and all the cooking supplies if not dining out. We loved the outdoor space with beautiful foliage and plants ferns throughout, and a lot of outdoor fire pits with chairs for quests to enjoy on chilly evenings to meet new people all set up, lite the paper to enjoy a warm fire in a perfect setting! Very dog friendly area too! Also there is a redwood trail behind the inn to hike to the nearest beach. I'll return to this wonderful inn in Trinidad! I hope you enjoy as well!.

We enjoyed our stay. The sitting area with sofa and fire was fantastic. There are no restaurants worthy of the inn, but a great eatery, Laurrpin cafe, is only a brief distance away. Nonstick pans in the fire-fired kitchen had serious scratches, making them basically useless unless you're okay with coating flaking off your food. Unfortunately, the bedrooms in room 1 were upstairs and have a bathroom downstairs. The first two nights were reasonably quiet, but the last night saw loud people up until 11.30 p.m. People were gathering in the gazebo. Although I believe that this inn would work well for families, we probably wouldn't stay here. Unquestionably excellent value.

I would absolutely recommend this property and would return if we were there again. My wife and I were preparing a trip to the redwood forests. It was challenging figuring out where to stay. Trinidad was the ideal location. I conducted a thorough evaluation of all the nearby properties, and this one had the highest ratings. They did not let up. Even though the house appears a little dated from the outside, the rooms are fantastic inside. We stayed in the chamber. It had a refrigerator and microwave and was very roomy and clean. The shower functioned perfectly. The cushions were a fantastic and excellent bed. I intended to give this establishment a score but was retrained due to the morning commotion. We could hear people moving their luggage up the stairs from our room. Lots of people with windows open and it was too noisy. Had to go outside and ask them to turn it down. Perhaps management could paste it on the walls or in their flyer to show more respect for the other guests staying there. It seems that there are a lot of people out there who don't really care about themselves. Wish that would change.
