We have become Tru Hotel fans. Wherever we travel, we always look for a Tru Hotel, and so far, we have not been disappointed with any of our stays. This Tru Hotel was excellent in so many ways. We were even given a small gift bag of bottled water upon check-in. Its cleanliness, comfortable beds, convenient location near the interstate, friendly staff, and warm community atmosphere were all a plus for us. Upon entering our room, we always see a personalized welcome message displayed on the television. We also like the handy liquid soap dispensers attached to the walls. In the shower, there are three dispensers: one for bathing, one for shampoo, and one for conditioner. This keeps down waste. The lobby furniture was suitable for a variety of tastes. It is not unusual for Tru Hotels to have board games and a pool table in the lobby. The big-screen television on one wall, with comfortable seating, was not intrusive to others relaxing or visiting in the lobby. If you prefer a swimming pool, there are none at Tru. There were eating establishments nearby. I suggest the Hutto's Seafood Market. There is also a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Tru Hotel has thus far proven to be top-of-the-line for us across all these accommodations and more. Whether for a family vacation or a business trip, we highly recommend it.

The Orangeburg, SC Tru was a gem for travelers passing through. It was clean, accommodating in so many ways such as parking, food offerings, overall amenities were amazing and not to mention the customer service from check-in to check-out. I believe it was Ameillia who always pleasant, provided great recommendations for great eats, and more. The staff was just GREAT! We would stay there again!

We've stayed here before and we like this hotel. Pet friendly, no carpets, walk-in shower, comfy beds, free parking, and a decent breakfast. Please note that the pet fee is $75 PER pet. A little pricey but I understand that some people are not respectful with their pets, so we all have to pay. I was just happy we could bring our pets.

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to North Carolina, and it was wonderful. The hotel was very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was well stocked. It was a great stop during our trip, and we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Great property, nice location with a lot of restaurants walking distance. Love the game are in the lobby and the breakfast was great. Look very modern and spacious. One point to consider is, the elevators walls need to be polished or clean, at least the night I stayed, both elevator walls look dirty. The gentlemen that was helping at the breakfast area was the highlight of your staff, what a great guy and hardworking. He was very attentive and helpful. We didn't took his name but he worked 5/26 Tuesday morning.

Have stayed at this property many times when traveling and have always found the hotel to be to be beyond excellent. The management should be commended for hiring the most professional and courteous staff.

The staff were very accommodating. We had the wrong room initially but the staff were quick to correct the mistake. The breakfast buffet was also great. The lady that prepared the buffet was so very polite. The room was very clean along with the whole facility. Our only issue was with the threshold going into the room. It was too high making it difficult to maneuver, with a wheelchair or Rollator.
