The couple who runs the Bed and Breakfast are wonderful hosts who treat their guests with fantastic service. The 3 course breakfasts were fabulous. Highly highly recommend staying here!

From start (amazing, healthy and filling breakfasts) to finish (hot tub under the stars), the Inn delivered. Plenty of nooks to escape to, like chairs in the shade outside or various living rooms and the innkeepers couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, down to suggesting restaurants from among the many to choose from and even making our reservation. Can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else. Close to Dune beaches (20 minutes -- visit the smaller ones for fewer crowds) and very easy walk to a picture-perfect downtown. Great place, great food, great experience.

The owner took a personal interest in us we were there to move our daughter into college. We got there later than expected. But he waited for us. The place is amazing. Not a single thing was out of place. He answered all the questions my wife was asking about the place. All the while he was cooking breakfast. A three course one at that. Which was great. And we were a mile from campus and two blocks from downtown. If you have any questions call him direct.

Everything about our stay was extremely lovely. It is a superbly restored 1885 home. Wonderful period antiques. Jim and Liz could not have been more friendly and professional. They really know what they are doing. The history of the home was fascinating! Our room super comfy and the en suite bath perfectly spotless. Breakfast was de-lish, and served promptly. As a plus, we even loved meeting the other guests!

Excellent visit! I was in Valparaiso to visit Lake Michigan (Indiana Dunes NP is about a half an hour away) and the Valpo Inn was a great option! Jim, the innkeeper was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The rooms are all fantastic and uniquely decorated. Breakfast was absolutely incredible and I miss it already. Fresh made muffins are one of my favorite foods so that was a nice bonus each day. All in all, it was a great visit and I can't wait to go back.

What an amazing gem we found on our recent visit to Valparaiso. We travel frequently there to visit family and friends and decided to treat ourselves to a stay near downtown. The beautiful home has been restored impeccably. Every little detail down to the period of its original time— all furnishings with the exception of luxurious bathrooms which were beautifully done. Jim, our host was amazing. He greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a history of the house. Our room was very comfortable and inviting. Breakfast, well, let’s just say was absolutely delicious. All served on beautiful antique china in the grand fashion of years gone by. We were treated to homemade muffins and pastries, fresh fruit and one morning French toast with sautéed apples and cinnamon and one morning we had the surprise of crab Benedict. We parked our car and walked the short blocks to downtown where we had a dinner out and shopped along Lincolnway. We will be back and have already told many friends and family about our great find

We had a wonderful stay at the Valparaiso Inn. Jim is a terrific host, very helpful with information and he makes a delicious breakfast. The property is a remarkable, beautifully restored mansion with all the modern amenities. Plus, it is just a few blocks from a vibrant downtown area. 2 big thumbs up for the Valparaiso Inn!

A classy, clean, and distinctive inn with all the amenities you can think of. The inn is conveniently located, just a block away from restaurants in the downtown area. Owners Jim and Liz were super friendly and warm. Breakfast was tremendous. Easily the best hospitality option in Valparaiso.
