A Victorian hotel on the main drag. We stayed in the suite, very roomy and attractive. A great Victorian parlor downstairs for hanging out.

Such a great and adorable hotel that I have every intention of staying at again. The rocking chair, the claw foot tube, the fireplace, I absolutely LOVED this room. The parlor room had so many great things to look at. I only wish I had more time to explore it more.

Room was spotless and overall accomodations were excellent. Unfortunately we could not participate in the morning complimentary breakfast as we were fly fishing and left each morning at 6:30 am to get on the river early. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and nice hotel to stay in while visiting Weaverville area to use the Weaverville Hotel as it is the best. I have used this facility over four different times and have never been disappointed.

The weather was perfect so we didn't use the AC. The property is a beautifully restored 19th century Gold Rush property. Very clean, quite in an old mining town. Perfect for overnight while on a road trip or fly fishing the Trinity River. We have stayed multiple times.

The Weaverville Hotel was really fun and unique. It was everything we had hoped for and the town was really energized at this time of the year. We were sad to only have one night here because we would have liked to spend some time in the cozy parlor.

The Hotel is vintage and the floors in our second floor room sloped so much that we were continually having to catch ourselves from tripping and falling. I did not do my research and found a set of steep stairs at the entry. My Hubs has mobility issues so that was hard. It will be our only stay at this location.

We like the old hotel. It's classic. But, they use the fireplace as a heater and it gets very cold when it doesn't work. The fireplace did not work.

the check in procedure was confusing and required us to contact a representative who was only a few minutes away to enter the hotel and our rooms. It was deserted and the lack of personal service was a bid disappointment. The rooms were adequate but hardly justified the nightly room rates......a very old building trying to offer modern conveniences.

Upon arrival I found the doors to the hotel locked. Calling the number on the door I was sent a link for an electronic check-in process. I could not fully understand the person on the phone and unable to follow their check-in procedure. I told the person that I was cancelling my reservation and wanted a refund. I was told that they could not provide a refund because it was after the refund cutoff period and against their policy. It is my opinion that the hotel's check-in process is not very accommodating to the handicapped or electronically challenged individual. As such a customer who can not complete the electronic process should either be afforded an alternative check-in method and if one is unavailable a refund should be given. The customer should always come first if any business wants to survive.
