Hotel was nice on the inside and has clearly be renovated recently. Staff were very nice. Bathrooms are tiny so be aware of this. Reasonable price.

My stay at Travel Lodge was very nice. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I didn’t like that the hotel was behind a store where you could barely notice it. I also didn’t like that the people that ran the hotel ran the store as well. They were never at the hotel desk, you had to go to the store to talk to them.

Seems like the facility is still in the remodeling stage. Unfinished halls, poor elevator operation, unfinished swimming pool, etc. No closet or clothes rod in room. No telephone in room. Breakfast poorly supplied and not maintained in a prompt manner. Breakfast hours cut short with clean up done and everything put away 30 to 45 minutes before the end of breakfast hours. Handicap parking inaccessible due to truck parked and blocking the access.

I was coming from four hours away for a wedding and was just looking for a cheap place to lay my head for the night, so I wasnt expecting much. The lobby looked like what I would expect from a cheaper hotel but I think they were in transition from the econolodge to Wyndham cause the base trim was off in the hallways, new paint, and clear as day updated rooms. I was pleasantly surprised at the room. Nice new flooring, new light colored paint (really made the room brighter), a large, bright, backlit mirror above the sink, nice shower stall with really nice, clean, glass sliding doors. The beds were comfortable and they were more elevated than normal so if you have a physically hard time getting up and out of bed, you wouldn't have any issues with these. I didnt partake in the pool or continental breakfast so no opinion on those. It's right on a main strip so you can walk and do some shopping or grab a bite, all within walking distance of the front door. If I'm ever in Sheboygan again, I would plan on staying there again.

My wife booked this room as the alternative options were very high priced. I enjoyed a pleasant stay. The ownership is very friendly and professional. I see that they continue to improve and invest in hotel refurbishing. The location is superb.

First of all, I booked a stay at Travelodge by Wyndham and this hotel's signage stated "Econolodge.". I didn't even know if I was in the right place! I was. The building was run down, chipped plaster and paint, unpainted and unfinished interior and exterior walls, unmaintained outside grounds. The receptionist stated they are going through a name change and renovations but this was beyond! Boxes everywhere. Musty smell in hallways. Dirty floors. A microwave in the waiting area that shorted out and sparked! The room was basic, nice sink/lighted mirror, nice full size shower, bed was VERY comfortable, in unit air conditioning was nice. The pool was nice but very small. I was lucky my boyfriend joined me as I would not have felt comfortable being there alone by myself, and he agreed. Highly recommend the staff to work on maintaining a comfortable space for guests while they renovate, sheish!
