Reception person was very helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants and how to navigate to find downtown. Kitchen was clean and had all good kitchen equipment. Room was clean as expected.

Lovely room. Pet friendly. I appreciated the in-room coffee maker. Live plant on table. Mountain view. Breakfast was grab 'n go snacks starting at 8 but I had my own breakfast items.

The room at Woodland Motel was clean and spacious. We stayed with our two dogs and they brought them doggie beds! There was baseball fields and Riverwalk right across from motel. Short walk to downtown. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the Woodland 2BR suite. It was perfect for our stay with the family. The proximity to downtown is super convenient.The no pet fee is an absolute plus. We will be back next month!

Motels get a bad rap but this is exactly the kind of place you want to stay in a small town. It’s a cutie little place which is family owned- and you can tell because they clearly put a lot of love and effort put into the small details. Including freshly ground coffee in the rooms. It’s about a 12 minute walk to the main town area and on NYE which we walked both ways but pedicab ride by and offered us a ride which surprised me as an option in such a small town, there’s also a taxi company too if mobility is an issue. We were only here for one night but if we find ourselves back in Salida we will definitely stay here again!
