About Hotel Caravansaray Rashid
Bukhara is a fascinating ancient city, once a place of vast caravans and vibrant trade. In the 19th century, a wealthy merchant named Abdurashid built the famous Caravanserai and named it after himself, Rashid. The caravanserai is located in the heart of Bukhara near the Sarrafon trading dome. Since the 19th century, the world's wealthiest merchants have stayed at the Rashid Caravanserai. A huge bazaar developed here, selling tea, silk, and indigo dyes imported from Europe and Asia. The aromas of tea and dye attracted all the city's merchants.
The Rashid Caravanserai was one of the largest inns. In the center of the courtyard, aromatic tea was sold daily, along with tea tastings. In 2018, a complete renovation of the building began. Today, the Rashid Caravanserai Hotel has reopened its doors to all guests arriving in fairytale Bukhara. Our hotel amenities:
