Location was perfect for staying in the old quarter. Lake and night market so close.The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Soo booked us an amazing day trip. Centrally located hotel to see all the sights of Hanoi in the old quarter. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival - greeted with fruit and a drink. Tasty Breakfast . Helpful receptionist pointing out places of interest. Chose to stay in deluxe room with view of lake.

It’s my first time in Hanoi and the hotel was exactly the place I need - 1 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, helpful hotel personnel, beautiful room and lovely combination of Vietnamese with Western breakfast. I’d recommend this place to everyone as it’s a hidden jewel in the area, would gladly stay here again next time when I am in Hanoi.

These people are really wonderful. Nothing was a problem to them. Always smiling, and always attentive. The hotel was in a great location for exploring Hanoi and obviously the 'Old Town' in particular. Rooms were big and spacious. Located in the heart of the old quarter and within walking distance of all the sights tourists are likely to want to see and some excellent street food outlets, the area although typically busy and chaotic as you come to expect from Hanoi, still felt safe to be able to wonder around both during the day and at night.. The breakfasts served were more than adequate and provided a varied choice to suit all tastes.Would I stay there again? Certainly !!

A step outside of this Hotel leads any travellers to the mixture of old and modern cultures of human kind. 2,3.4-wheeled vehicles, crowd of foreigners and locals, beef rice noodle and convenience store co-exist efficiently in the myriad of narrow roads.Historic "Hoan Kiem Lake","Statue of King Ly Thai To" and"Hoa Lo Prison" dubbed Hanoi Hilton during Vietnam War Era are just a stone's throw away from the hotel . Staffs were very kind, helpful and spoke good English. The Hotel provides pick-up and see-off services to and from airport at reasonable prices and safety than taxi scammer . Room rates start from US$ 55 per night, representing good value of money. If one of your purposes of trip is to experience real local culture, I recommed to stay here.Of course, I will return to Hanoian Lakeside .

The stay there was amazing! I have never felt such a hospitality, care, attention to detail and overall all outstanding service! It's a brand new building located on a nice street within old part of Hanoi; easy accessible and great for visiting city. If you will need something, they will be there to help and support you. Everyone is nice and truly caring. Great, variety of breakfast, they also have airport shuttle which was easy to book and high condition car. Definitly would love to stay longer and again. Thank you for such a positive experience !

We spent 1 night in this great hotel with their location at Old Quarter Street. It's very convenient for us to shop & walk around. Their rooms is very nice, spacious & clean. For me, their super comfy bed I liked the most. Overall the staff are very friendly & politely. Thanks to Justin for her good hospitality service to us, he just promote to Front Office Manager and his owner absolutely to proud of him.This hotel can allowed us to leave our luggage & our some souvenirs things at their lobby with FOC (they will definitely take care of your things).Definitely will come back to this hotel next time & highly recommend to families & friends.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay here. After came back from Ha Long Bay, Cúc was waiting for us at the entrance, pick our bags and tell us she want upgraded us to the Hanoian Suite on the hotel block B which was lovely, spacious, bright and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable! Extra living room with 2 smart TV. Shout out for Cuc for all her doing for our vacation. Overall great location and will stay here again when in Hanoi !

We were very impressed by the service at this lovely hotel. Cúc, Justin and the rest of the staff were fantastic! Always ready to help, give advice and organise whatever you need. I was travelled with my fiance and It was his birthday during our stay here and the hotel made his day extra special with a lovely surprise in our room when we got back from the day's outing . The room Honeymoon Balcony was very spacious and clean. Lovely ! The location is great and we could easily explore Hanoi by foot from here. We would highly recommend this hotel !

What an excellent hotel. We stayed in this for one night and but we traveled up to Sapa and when we came back we decided to stay here again, they upgraded us for staying again. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in , in Vietnam , this was the best, they were definitely the most helpful and friendly I have ever experienced, giving tips on where to go etc and not just there to work. While the rooms are quite small the location is excellent just off the lake. When you arrive it’s down a back street which is full of people and stalls but they you go inside it’s just lovely. Can’t recommend this enough.

The employees were very welcoming and friendly. The best service I've ever received at a hotel. The staff at Haitian Lakeside was outstanding, from the fruit and juice as it was welcomed to the courteous greetings each time I entered, to the takeaway breakfast from my early check-out time. Even more, I had trouble finding a money changer, but the staff personally directed me there. The hotel room was immaculate and well-kept! The location was also excellent. I heartily recommend and would certainly return here.

If you want a reliable hot water shower, forget to turn on the water heater. There is drinking water and a microwave right next to the reception. Public space, but 2 bottles of water are available in each room. Basically, there are only 2 rooms on each floor. Front and back of the building. So, there's less noise from other guests staying in the next room, which is fantastic since you don't need to hear the door banging sound. I stayed in a room on the back side for a night, so the room had no view as I could guess because there was a window. Also, I stayed in a room on the front side for 2 nights, and the view of the city was very nice. The rear side does not have a view, but it is larger and all the equipment works properly. There is a desk and 2 bedside tables, but there is no view at all. It is extremely typical in hani. The front side has a city view but is much smaller and narrower to be precise than the two and floor. Luckily I had a room on the top floor, but the showerhead was damaged. On the ith floor, there are 2 rooms. The other room on ith floor is very far. You won't hear anything from other guests. The toilet flush is very weak in the room on the ith floor. The water
