What stood out was the kindness of the staff. I arrived 5 hours before check-in. The desk clerk suggested I do a little sightseeing around the area. But I was exhausted from traveling so I laid on a tile bench. After a few minutes, the clerk told me that the manager, a Vietnamese American, had given permission for me go to my room immediately.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The location is fantastic — the surrounding area has everything you need, from all kinds of food and drink options to convenient markets. The room itself is dated but very clean and spacious. It comes with a fridge and a small seating area, which made the stay more comfortable. The common space is relaxing and a nice spot to unwind. The gentleman at the front desk is always there, friendly, and ready to help. You can always find an answer when you need one, and having someone consistently at the front is reassuring. During the rainy season, he even offered me an umbrella before I had the chance to ask — truly great customer service. I was assigned a room farther away from the front, so I didn’t hear any street noise — a big plus if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, a great value stay in a super convenient location.

I recently stayed at Minh Chau Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and was thoroughly impressed! The hotel offers great value for money with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff who made my stay enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages is its prime location—just a short distance from Saigon Railway Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers catching a train. Additionally, it’s easily accessible from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which was a huge plus for me as I arrived late at night. The surrounding area has plenty of local eateries, shops, and attractions, so you’re never far from the action. Despite being in a lively area, the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend Minh Chau Hotel for both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in Ho Chi Minh City. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

古いホテルでしたけど、飲食店やコンビニ、スーパーも近くにあってとても便利でした。ホテルに快適性を求める人には向きませんが、オーナー？が4階に住んでいて、猫5匹、アヒルや鶏などもいて、彼らがとても気さくで親切。時に果物切ってくれて「どうぞ」と。英語も堪能なので意思疎通も容易にできてとても快適でした。リピートすると思います。

Totally satisfactory. I am fastidious about cleanliness and I was satisfied with the room, which was very clean. No unusual odors or any other red flags. A/C was strong. The staff was very servicial and friendly . Upstairs on the fourth floor they have a breakfast area where they can make American style breakfast (fried eggs and coffee). And they can book a taxi or Uber-type car service to take you to the airport or wherever. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed 2 days. Clean, peaceful, have rotating shift staff that speaks English, Mandarin and Vietnamese. Slightly far from city but just a few minutes with Grab service. Interesting antique TV that still works perfectly.

Great receptionist, with good English & very helpful & knowledgeable about Saigon. Room was spacious, in good condition. Also there wad a lift - which was nice. Its fairly far from center of sights but near the train station- which was nice for us.

Die Frau am Empfang war wirklich sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe miene Kreditkarte verloren und sie hat mir über Paypal Bargeld gegeben. Das hat mir wirklich sehr geholfen. Außerdem hat sie mir 6 Stunden nach meinem Checkout angeboten in einem freien Raum zu duschen. Der Ausblick vom Dach hat mir auch gefallen. Die Gegend ist ein bisschen abseits vom großen Tourismus der Innenstadt, was genau das war wodrauf ich Lust hatte. Niemand versucht einen auszutricksen und auf den Karten stehen Preise auf die man sich verlassen kann.
