Very nice welcome. The lady organised our bus pickup for the next day. Her restaurant suggestion was excellent. The upstairs bar with the self-service and the pool table are a real treat.

Excellent séjour ! Le propriétaire néo-zélandais de la guest house est vraiment sympathique, tout comme le personnel qui s’est chargé de la réservation de nos billets de ferry. Si vous passez à Chau Doc, arrêtez vous dans ce super endroit pour la nuit !

Stayed here one night. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The facilities are modern and clean and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Right off the main street. They dont upcharge on any tours. Wayne is GREAT!

チャウドックからプノンペンまでボートで国境を越えるためにこのホテルに滞在しました。スタッフがとても親切で、ボートの予約やいろいろな質問に丁寧に答えてくれました。朝食をテラスで食べれるのも良かったです。バックパッカーの安旅の中でも、少し贅沢した一泊でした。

Great spot. Friendly owner and his wife were there always to help out. Easy walk to good restaurants and downtown. Great condition bikes to use to peddle the countryside. Great breakfast.

We only had 2 nights but would have been happy to stay longer! Murray is a wealth of knowledge of the area and extremely helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts and had a very comfortable room. The use of the free bicycles, which were in excellent condition, enabled us to see some of the local highlights. The roof top terrace is a great place for a cold drink in the evening! We highly recommend Murray's Guesthouse and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to southern Vietnam.

The Murray Guesthouse was the perfect location for our stay in Chao Doc. We were there 2 nights and enjoyed the comfortable rooms and convenient location. We walked down to the riverfront park and took a boat tour of the floating fish farms and Cham Villiage which was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the food at the guesthouse very much. We had wonderful food downtown as well. Murray's homemade breakfast sausages were so tasty and his wife made the best Pho of my trip. Murray was delightful to talk to, he has such a nice family and friendly staff. If you are going to Chao Doc and want a clean, comfortable, secure place to stay for a very reasonable price I highly recommend The Murray Guesthouse.

Two days in this guesthouse. Only some 100s of meters walk from boat (from/to Phnom Penh). Nice place, like home. Owners are very kind. Husband is from New Zeeland - nice discussions and help in English language.

Loved the free bike hire and recommended bike routes! The family that owns the place if very kind and friendly and was very helpful in booking our onward travel. Highly recommend this place. Only downside is you need to walk a little to get food the recommend.

The staff are very helpful as soon as you arrive with local information and ensuring your comfort. Restaurants, stalls, shops ATM, ferry to Cambodia are all within walking distance. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Beds are comfortable. Hot shower with great water pressure. Breakfast is wonderful with options including delicious home made sausages, fresh bread fruit. Hosts were wonderful! They kindly organised our onward journey and provided us with detailed information about where to go, what to do and also general information which proved to be invaluable. Stay a while for the best experience.

Chau Doc is a vibrant city that’s small enough to be manageable but has plenty to offer. We took a boat tour on the river, went to a bird sanctuary, visited Buddhist temples and shrines, and ate amazing food. Murray Guesthouse is very nice- a little oasis of western comfort in the middle of the continuous buzz of Vietnamese culture. Check out the roof top patio with a great view of the city. Breakfast overlooking the street is a great way to start the day. Wayne and Tencan (spelling?) are gracious hosts always around to answer questions and tell you about the region.
