The staff members were really nice and trying their best given the resources they had. They were young inexperienced in their 20s trying to run the hotel. I ended up giving them some pointers on operations and showing them how to fix the AC. They will do well once the island is completely open up. There were only two small boutique hotels opened with just 12 guests total at the time on the entire island and the only reservation only restaurant didn't open until the next day we were there. Luckily one of the hotels, not ours, sell instant noodles and beers so that's all we had for the first night. The kids were smart and stocking up the next day, noodles, soft drinks, and beers, etc. I'd stay there again once the island opens.

We stayed in Pito Hotel of Hon Thom Island for 25-28dec. The hotel opened only for two months. All facilities were clean and new. It was great that we were offered free cable-car and free entry of Nature Park / Water Park every day. However, there was no store/restaurant open after 4pm. So we could only eat bread/cup-noodles for dinner. This is very ridiculous to visitors. The SunWorld should at least open one store and one restaurant near hotel area at evening time. There were only two staff to manage the Pito hotel. One staff, called TRI (志), was very helpful. He was very hard-working and often willing to do extra work for us. I think TRI handled over 70% of the hotel work. I would like to especially thank for TRI. I tried to give him tips when we checked out but he did not receive. He said it was his job to serve clients. TRI(志) is a very nice and responsible staff.

This hotel is located in a small deserted island connected to Phu quoc by a cablecar working only from 8 am till 5pm. The hotel has no restaurant, same for the island: no restaurants, so no way to have a meal after 5 pm!! You cannot sell rooms in this hotel.!!
