General Requirement

The terms and conditions informed on this page are fluctuative and are subject to change without prior notice. The applicable policy will still follow the airline regulations when the request is submitted.

During COVID-19 outbreak beside usual travel documents, other supporting documents must be completed prior to check-in at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Followings are supporting documents for Thai and Non-Thai Citizens:

• Certificate of Entry (COE) from Thai Embassy which can be accessed here at least 14 days before the date of departure.
• Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, using RT-PCR test, issued not more than 72 hours before departure time.
• Health Insurance Policy, covering healthcare and treatment expenses for COVID-19 with coverage no less than $100,000 USD/pax.
• Confirmation Letter from Alternative Quarantine Hotel in Bangkok for a period of 14 days from date of arrival with own expenses.

Based on the information that we received, the ticket refund process for Thai Airways (THAI/TG) is currently constrained and cannot be carried out because the airline is undergoing a rehabilitation process through the Central Bankruptcy Court in Thailand. Notwithstanding this, Thai Airways remains committed to extending the utmost attention and care to all customers who have pending ticket refund requests.

This policy applies until further notice. We will keep you posted once we have any further updates.

Refund

Refunds for Thai Airways both for cancelled ticket from the airline and as per request from the passenger are in accordance with the airline's regulations as follow:

• For refundable ticket: waiver of refund penalty is not permitted.
• For non-refundable ticket: only unused tax can be refunded.
• Thai Travel vouchers can be used for new flights with flight no. TG 3 & TG 4 operated by Thai Smile (WE)
• Thai Travel vouchers can be transferred to anyone with proof of documents (IDR 10,000 stamp / letter of attorney listed on the Thai Travel Vouchers) indicated at the time of submission of the ticket

Reroute

• Submitting a re-route can be done while using the same airline
• Submissions are made at the related airlines
• Reroute / change fee will be waived
• If the reroute ticket price is greater than the Thai Travel Voucher value given, the price difference will be paid by the passenger. If the ticket price is lower than the Thai Travel Voucher given, then the price difference will not be given to the passenger.
• Reroute conditions are subject to each airline policies and availability.
