Charles de Gaulle International Airport

General Requirements

Since January 1, 2023, sanitary border control measures for all travel between foreign countries and France and the overseas territories depend on the country of origin.

  1. Travelers from China
    • As of January 1, 2023, any person aged 6 or older will have to wear a mask when traveling by air. The obligation to wear a mask does not apply to disabled persons with a medical certificate justifying the exemption.

    • As of February 16, 2023, a negative PCR or antigenic test result and a certificate attesting of the non contamination by the Covid 19 are no longer required to travel. Random tests at arrival are also stopped.

  2. Travelers from all countries other than China
    • All health control measures at the borders have been lifted for passengers traveling from abroad to Metropolitan France and overseas departments and regions.

    • The requirement of presenting a health pass, a compelling reason, and a sworn statement of non-contamination is no longer necessary, regardless of the country of origin.

    • Passengers are no longer required to present a certificate justifying the reason for their travel when going abroad.

    • To find out more info about the health control measures, please check the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs website.

Entry Requirements

The French Border Police officer will request the passengers' passports or identity cards along with any required supporting documents for their visit. The passengers are advised to have their boarding passes and travel documents prepared, opened to the photo page, and proceed to the designated line based on their passport type:
