T&C and Other Info on Flight Reschedule Protection

  1. This Travel Insurance is a product offered by PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.
     
  2. The marketed product is an insurance product.
     
  3. This Travel Insurance can be purchased either together with or separately from a flight ticket through the websites www.tiket.com; m.tiket.com; and the tiket.com app (iOS & Android).

     
  4. This insurance is valid for all citizens with a minimum age of 15 (fifteen) days at the time of departure and/or a maximum age of 75 (seventy-five) years at the time of departure.
     
  5. The insurer is not responsible for negligence of the tiket.com system.
     
  6. This Travel Insurance is valid for trips using airplanes for One-Way or Round-Trip travel on Domestic, International, and International-to-International routes.
     
  7. The insurance covers travel from abroad to Indonesia (inbound), from Indonesia to overseas (Outbound), as well as travel between foreign countries and return to the original point of departure.
     
  8. Round Trip travel must be under one (1) booking (Order ID), with a maximum gap of 365 (three hundred sixty-five) days between the outbound and return flights.
     
  9. Children under 18 (eighteen) years old must be under the supervision of a family member or someone authorized to accompany the child during the trip.
     
  10. tiket.com does not manage the premiums and only acts as an intermediary between the Insured and Cermati Protect and PT Asuransi Wahana Tata through the website or app.
     
  11. tiket.com has no obligations and/or responsibilities related to the purchase of insurance products by the Insured.
     
  12. tiket.com has the right, without prior notice, to take necessary actions if fraudulent activity by the Insured is detected.
     
  13. The Insured is the tiket.com customer who is individually listed in the policy for the insured item under this Travel Insurance, thus having the right to obtain protection from the insurance for potential risks.
     
  14. A Coverage Summary (Surat Rangkuman Perlindungan) will be sent via email to the Insured.
     
  15. Insurance premiums are non-refundable.
     
  16. Transactions are conducted in Indonesian Rupiah, and if reimbursement is made to a foreign bank, the applicable foreign exchange (For-Ex) rate at the time of the reimbursement transfer will be used. The amount reimbursed will be equivalent to the compensation amount in Rupiah. All costs related to the foreign exchange (For-Ex) transfer shall be borne by the Insured.
     
  17. If the Insured has more than one (1) policy for the same coverage period, the Insured is only entitled to claim under one insurance policy for the same incident/loss (Non-Double Claim).
     
  18. Coverage for Airline issues (whether schedule changes or route suspensions) or airport closure by government/airport authorities only applies if it occurs more than 2 (two) consecutive hours from the original flight schedule.
     
  19. This coverage only applies if the policy is purchased before becoming aware of any events that may cause a disruption to the trip.
     
  20. The insurance will provide benefits to the Insured up to the relevant benefit amount specified in the Benefits List for the total claims during the Insurance Period.
     
  21. If during one trip there is a schedule change (reschedule) followed by a cancellation due to route termination by the airline, the Insured will receive claims for both guarantees.
     
  22. If during one trip there is a schedule change (reschedule) followed by a cancellation due to route termination by the airline or airport closure by the government/airport authority, the Insured will receive compensation for the schedule change (reschedule) plus the higher compensation between route termination by the airline and airport closure/route termination by the government/airport authority.
     
  23. If during one trip there is an airport closure or route termination by the government/airport authority causing the airline to also terminate the route, compensation will be given based on the  higher amount between compensation for route termination by the airline and compensation for airport closure/route termination by the government/airport authority.
     
  24. For policies that cover round-trip tickets, the coverage limit applies per trip. This means if the ticket is round-trip, each journey has its own limit.
     
  25. The coverage limit for inconvenience due to route termination or airport closure by the government or airport authority applies as follows:
    • If the Insured receives written information about the airport closure before the outbound trip, then compensation may apply for both the outbound and return trips.
    • If the Insured only becomes aware of the airport closure during the return trip, then compensation applies only for the return trip.
    • This compensation applies if the Insured can provide claim documentation in accordance with the requirements specified by the Insurance party.
       
  26. Claims must be reported within 30 (thirty) days from the date the Insured receives information about flight schedule changes or cancellations.
     
  27. If within 90 (ninety) calendar days the Insured is unable to provide a valid bank account, or if the Insured is a Foreign Citizen (non-Indonesian) without a local bank account, then the Insured agrees that the approved claim payment will be redirected to tiket.com to be converted into Blibli Tiket Points. This decision is final and binding, and therefore the Insured has no right to file complaints or objections in the future. Once the Insurance Company makes the claim payment to the Policyholder or Broker, responsibility for the claim fully transfers to the Policyholder.
     
  28. The Insurance Company will not process a claim submission if the insurance policy was purchased after the Insured became aware of the event to be claimed, or after information about the event was announced to the public.
     
  29. Claims can be reported through the Online Claim Center at https://m.tiket.com/insurance-claim or for further information, the Insured can contact WhatsApp (Chat Only) at +62 815-8500-9500 or email claims@cermatiprotect.com at their operational hours on Monday-Sunday, 09:00-21:00 GMT+7 (except on national holidays).
     
  30. An Airline means any air transport company operating under a permit to carry paying passengers and only has regular and scheduled routes. It does not include any air transport that is rented or arranged as part of a tour, even if the service is scheduled regularly.
     
  31. Financial Default means either a complete delay of business activities due to financial conditions, whether or not a bankruptcy/liquidation petition has been filed, or a partial delay of business activities after the filing of such a petition.
     
  32. Infectious Disease Outbreak means any disease that can be transmitted directly or indirectly from person or animal to another person or animal caused by a virus, bacteria, or other microorganism, which results in: (a) theimposition of quarantine or movement restrictions on people or animals by national or international agencies; or (b) a travel ban or warning issued by national or international agencies.
     
  33. Changes to the original flight schedule are only allowed for the same departure and arrival cities as stated in the original flight ticket.
     
  34. The Insured is advised to carefully read all explanations about the coverage and exclusions contained in the PT Asuransi Wahana Tata Policy terms.
     
  35. The Insured authorizes PT Asuransi Wahana Tata to use or provide information and/or details about the Insured available, obtained, or stored by PT Asuransi Wahana Tata (as stated in this Application for Coverage, Policy, or other documents of the Insurance product) for the purpose of submitting this Coverage, claims payment, or customer service. The Insured also understands that they have the right to correct or add information about themselves by contacting PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.
     
  36. The Insured authorizes PT Asuransi Wahana Tata to use and/or provide information and/or details about the Insured in connection with the Insured's Policy based on this Coverage, including but not limited to information regarding Premiums.
     
  37. By purchasing this Travel Insurance product, the Insured confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of the Travel Insurance product knowingly and without any coercion from any party, including but not limited to the decisions of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.
