What is Refund After Check-in?

Refund After Check-in is an insurance provided by PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia that gives you the flexibility to cancel your hotel stay after check-in for any reason.

 

If you feel uncomfortable during your stay, sudden changes to your schedule, emergencies, or other unexpected situations, you can request a refund and submit your cancellation before 11:59 PM on your check-in date.

More Info About Refund After Check-in

  1. Refund After Check-in is an insurance product offered by PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia.
     
  2. The marketed product is an insurance product.
     
  3. Refund After Check-in can only be purchased through the websites www.tiket.com; m.tiket.com; and the tiket.com app (iOS & Android).
     
  4. The insurer is not responsible for negligence of the tiket.com system.
     
  5. Refund After Check-in is valid for both domestic and international hotels.
     
  6. Refund After Check-in is only valid if the guest has checked in, with cancellations allowed no later than 11:59 PM on the check-in date.
     
  7. Refund After Check-in is not valid for partial cancellations. The refund will be calculated based on the total length of stay according to the policy and the final calculation will be determined by the insurer.
     
  8. The maximum booking period is 180 days before the check-in date.
     
  9. tiket.com does not manage the premiums and only acts as an intermediary between the Insured and Cermati Protect and PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia via the website or app.
     
  10. tiket.com has no obligations and/or responsibilities related to the purchase of insurance products by the Insured.
     
  11. tiket.com reserves the right, without prior notice, to take necessary action if any fraudulent activity by the Insured is found.
     
  12. The Insured is a tiket.com customer who is individually listed in the policy for the covered subject matter under the Travel Insurance, and is therefore entitled to insurance protection against potential risks.
     
  13. The Insured must obtain confirmation from the hotel stating their agreement to the cancellation requested by the Insured, such as a statement showing the check-in and check-out dates are the same. If the hotel does not agree to the cancellation, the claim will not be covered.
     
  14. If the hotel approves the cancellation request, but the Insured still occupies the hotel room, the claim will not be covered.
     
  15. A Summary of Coverage Letter (Surat Rangkuman Perlindungan) will be sent via email to the Insured.
     
  16. The insurance premium is non-refundable.
     
  17. Transactions are made in Indonesian Rupiah. If compensation is transferred to a foreign bank, the applicable Foreign Exchange (Forex) rate at the time of the transfer will apply, and the compensation amount will be based on the equivalent value in Rupiah. All Foreign Exchange (For-Ex) transfer fees are the responsibility of the Insured.
     
  18. Claims must be reported within 7 (seven) days from the date of the cancellation incident.
     
  19. Claims can be reported through the Online Claim Center https://m.tiket.com/insurance-claim or for further information, contact WhatsApp (Chat Only) at 0815-8500-9500 or email claims@cermatiprotect.com at their operational hours on Monday-Sunday, 09:00-21:00 GMT+7 (except on national holidays).
     
  20. The Insured is advised to carefully read all explanations of coverage and exclusions contained in the policy terms of PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia.
     
  21. The Insured authorizes PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia to use or disclose information and/or data about the Insured that is available, obtained, or stored by PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia (as listed in the Insurance Coverage Application, Policy, or other documents related to the insurance product) for coverage application, claim payment, or Insured services. The Insured also understands they have the right to correct or add to their personal information by contacting PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia.
     
  22. The Insured grants PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia the authority to use and/or disclose information and/or data related to the Insured in connection with the Policy issued under this Coverage Agreement, including but not limited to information about the Premium.
     
  23. By purchasing the Travel Insurance product, the Insured has read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of the Travel Insurance product consciously and without any coercion from any party, including but not limited to the decisions of PT MNC Asuransi Indonesia.
     
  24. This insurance does not guarantee and in no way is responsible for any claims under this section that are directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from, arising in connection with, or caused by the following:
    1) If, before to the hotel booking, there has been a public media warning about an event that will or has occurred, which causes the trip cancellation;
    2) Due to radiation, nuclear reaction, or contamination, including nuclear or radioactive weapons;
    3) Due to materials, substances, biological and/or chemical compounds used directly or indirectly with the intent to harm or kill human life and/or cause public fear;
    4) War & civil war, terrorism & sabotage, and official announcements from authorities regarding outbreaks of infectious diseases;
    5) If the Insured commits suicide;
    6) Other exclusions as stated in the insurer’s policy wording.
