The room we had was spacious and tastefully furnished, and was also comfortable, with the view in the room amazing. The staff was very welcoming and courteous, and the restaurant was amazing. In the cottage, we are able to take in the views from the deck and large bathtub, walk along the river, or read a book by the fire.

We only booked one night to go from central Victoria to Sydney. I just wanted to stay longer. This is a magical place and when the Limpi River was flooded the surrounding hillsides were so green. To top it off this experience the meal in the dining room was amazing and the breakfast hamper in the morning perfect. Our room was nice. The staff is friendly and professional. I will be back.

Limbo Fork Lodge was suggested to me by another less interesting establishment in tumult that was booked out, so this was our first stay. I look forward to returning. The restaurant Three Blue Ducks was great. The local specialty, trout, was on the menu, but there were many other options. I had both cured trout entree and whole trout main, and both were excellent. The cottage was very tastefully decorated and comfortable, and the location is absolutely beautiful. I was a little concerned how cold the cottage got overnight in October, but it seemed not very well insulated, so I am not sure how it would be in winter. There are both gas heaters and reverse cycle air conditioners in the cottages, but we don't like having them on all night due to the drying out of the air. Two things that are necessary, first you must be able to drive. Him down a very narrow dirt road to the property, and being in a remote location, attention is required in relation to insects mosquitoes, etc. The lights in the rooms are attracted to them. We didn't really have an issue with either, but it may be difficult for some people. The property is built on a hill away from the river, but you can see the river from the cottages.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with a beautiful style and comfortable accommodation. This place is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A MUST SEE!

Limbo Lodge is a beacon nestled between the tumult and gundagai, offering excellent lodging at the fork of the tumult and the limbo rivers. Its a fishing place that coincidentally has a fantastic restaurant and three blue ducks on site. Recommended
