What a great place! Wifi was intermittent, but we were told that. Didn’t care. Visited to escape all of that! Best part was it was quiet! Definitely will recommend to friends and family. If you need to get away, this is it.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked with cooking utensils. It's in a great area for heading out on day trips. Staff are super helpful. We had a problem with a sticky door knob. we reported it on our way out for a morning hike. By the time we returned it was fixed. The owner popped by later that day to ask us if it was fixed to our satisfaction. great service!

We stayed 3 nights in "Gros Morne Suites" on Paynes Path Unit #48 is the end unit on the upper floor. It was a Panoramic Double Room with 2 Queen Beds. The view from our room was picturesque and serene. There is one flight of stairs to climb with no elevator (which we knew about at time of booking) - so be prepared to carry your suitcase up the stairs. The room was very large and spacious - a nice sitting area with a sofa and small T.V. and a dining table with two chairs. There were two large windows with blinds that offered side views out of the unit. There was a dresser with drawers to store clothes. The sliding patio door led to a small balcony with two lounge chairs which was lovely at sunrise and sunset to sit with a beverage - we watched the fisherman pull up their lobster cages every morning. The bed was comfortable and clean. We loved the HVAC with large digital display and it was easy to adjust heat/cold settings. The bathroom was medium sized with a bathtub/shower combo and good water pressure and hot water. The towels were clean and of good quality with great absorption. The vanity was large to store our toiletries - a hairdryer was included. There were plenty of outlets to charge our electronic devices and the WIFI was good. The location was fabulous with many restaurants a short drive away - there is also a general store at a short walking distance. We ate meals at Earles', Sunset Cafe, Treasure Box, and Anchor Pub. We would stay here again!

The location of the this cottage is really ideal for visiting gros morne. Rocky Harbour has a lot more going on that any of the surrounding times which is really helpful especially if you ever need to eat a later dinner. The cottage is very nice, clean. Well maintained and really comfortable. They have a little complex with different cottages which is all very nice.
