Everything is great about Wing Creek Resort. It’s 20 acres of West Kootenay paradise. Our perfectly appointed cabin overlooking Kootenay Lake is an easy 10 minutes away, but just far away, from the town of Kaslo. We can’t wait to come back

Wing Creek Resort was the perfect peaceful and romantic getaway. We were looking for somewhere that was private, cozy, and near the water and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin was quaint, very clean, and cozy. Our hosts were very friendly during check-in and check-out but otherwise left us alone which was perfect for us. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

What an incredible getaway. It was absolutely breath taking, cozy cute cottage with the most beautiful views. We loved sitting on the deck as much as possible. The private beach was so nice to have and just the entire property to walk around was gorgeous! So many little touches thanks to the incredible hosts that made it that much more special! We can’t wait to be back ASAP. Thank you again for everything!

We had a fantastic stay in our little cabin. We enjoyed hiking to the beach where several private fire pits have been set up. The views of the lake and mountains can be seen from the cabin and from a private deck. Thank you to Deb and Kevin for graciously offering this 20 acre site for stays which includes an orchard with pears, grapes, plums and multiple varieties of apples. All within a few minutes of the quaint village of Kaslo.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and absolutely adorable. The lights on the outside during twilight were a very nice touch. Kevin and Deb were fabulous hosts. We felt very welcomed and well cared for but also given our privacy. One night was not nearly enough, we will definitely be back very soon.

This place is fantastic! A wonderful location to unwind. Get away from the usual demands of life. This would be it if I had a concept of the ideal location to live. My favorite wildlife on the property was the hummingbird, chickadee, rabbits, squirrels, and deer. The sunrise view was breathtaking! I could sit there for hours while listening to the nearby creek's roar. We stayed in cabin 5. The cabin is perfect for a couple. It was spotless. The bed was very comfy. Everything you could possibly need for a terrific vacation was available. The descent to the water was straightforward. Going up a little more difficult. We merely stopped for tiny resting along the way. We went down to the water four of the five nights we stayed. We had the entire property to ourselves! Again.. Another place I could spend hours listening to the creek in the background. Deb and kevin were the finest hosts you could possibly ask for. Their property is lovely, and we appreciate them sharing it with us. I will be back soon. Christy and leigh.

When I booked my stay at Wing Creek, I was not sure what to expect. However, when I arrived, I had high hopes and were overcompensated. The room is in a lovely setting and has a cozy, private room. Plus, the service is amazing! I'm already dreaming about coming back!.

This resort is so unique. This is a beautiful property with a view of Kootenay Lake with thoughtfully planned amenities, lovely and comfy cottages, and plenty of things to do in the area if you want to explore a bit. Very peaceful, very private, even a walk down to the resorts own beach. And the lovely fireplace in the cottage!.

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is just outside of kootenay lake. But the attitude of the owner was so professional and friendly. Besides that the cabins were clean. And then, there are some nice touches like the private porch. After that, the beach is very close to a few well-kept enclaves where you can sit around a campfire and enjoy the lake. Subsequently, the sign for this resort is professional. Besides that, they have a big sign and it's a pleasure to see. Afterward, I took note of that. It really is as important to know a place to stay because this place is on the outside kootenay lake, and their facilities are very impressive. This place is located on a remote location and is very close to the lake. It's such a hidden gem.

Cabin was okay, small, no TV, Guess that's because it's a "retreat". Beach was a 15 minute down hill walk from the cabin. Some sort of criter is living under the cabin, not sure what but by the nawning and scratching it's not a squirrel.
