It could have been better. Great location and a unique idea. The site is absolutely gorgeous. However, the owners were impossible to reach before the trip, and all logistics were provided last minute in a chaotic manner. The site is managed daily by day laborers who might or might not care about other people's children. Rafting was fun but expensive. The cost of rafting included pictures, but none were ever sent to us. Multiple attempts to contact the property about it afterward went unanswered. Really a mixed bag.

In March 2022, we spent two nights at the package river lodge. The lodging was pretty wonderful, and the cabins are simple yet still clean. The beds are a touch older and unpleasant, though. Rafting was exciting but tiring due to the low water level. On one occasion, we hiked to a lovely waterfall and unwinded in the river. The staff was fantastic, and I enjoyed the cuisine! We highly recommend it because it was a very unique experience for us.

I heartily endorse this to anyone seeking adventure. This hotel is like no other. The package river lodge was in absolute heaven! You don't have to raft to stay there, but rafting the package river is absolutely lovely and adrenaline fueled. The owners are extremely helpful, and the rafting guides are fun, but more importantly, they are excellent at what they do to ensure your safety on the river. If you require transportation, they partner with exploradores outdoor pick-up in So, Puerto Vijo, and Fortuna. They can drop you off at any city, so, Puerto Vijo, or La Fortuna, which is quite convenient and saves you time and money. While you are on the river and at the lodge, luggage is kept safely.

We had a wonderful time there, and our family and friends enjoyed our journey down the lovely Rio Package with package river lodge. They went above and above to make us feel welcome and promptly met our needs. Our river guides, Michael and Walter, were skilled in every way in making sure we were safe while providing us with fun side trips. We had a great time at the delightful package river lodge, which is set among the mountains directly next to the river. They surpassed our expectations for a river camp because it was tucked away in the mountains. Both the scenery and the food were fantastic. We and our kids both enjoyed it.

The Package River Lodge is one of the greatest places we have visited in Costa Rich, and it is without a doubt the highlight of our final adventure! One night in the drive-in rafting package, we completed everything, it was the best way to begin our vacations! The cuisine was excellent, and Johnny, our tour leader for the entire trip, was excellent. He provided us with a wealth of information about nature and animals, and he was the ideal guide for a safe rafting experience. The cabins are simple but perfect, with the kind of adventure we were seeking when visiting Costa Rich. My parents weren't sure they wanted to go rafting, but I was able to convince them, and they loved it. Everything was well arranged, and it's nice that they take care of your car and deliver it to you at the end of the rafting. This is the ideal location for you if you enjoy nature and adventure! If Johanna doesn't respond immediately for the reservation, be quick. I nearly did, but I'm really glad I didn't! The only drawback is that we are still waiting for the photos that were taken during the rafting and included in the package. We hope to soon get them to remind us of this wonderful rafting trip.
