Ask for a room at the gasthof. The old structure needs new mattresses and cushions and renovation. The new gasthof is great. Rooms are huge, well done. The beer, brewed there since 1465, is fantastic. The cuisine is fantastic. The apples with ice cream for dessert are a must try. Unforgettable! Very quiet town, so forget it if you plan to do a lot. You must drive to other nearby towns. Every day and evening, the gasthof is filled with people. A very nice place to visit.

The only downside is the bar was closed, so I never tried the beers. The room was comfortable and warm, and the shower was great. Breakfast was good in the morning with lots of choices.

During our recent trip to Bavaria, my wife and I stayed at Brauereigasthof Neck for two days and one night. It was a lovely spring day, and we sat outside in the garden, took in the light, drank excellent beer, including the awardwinning wanderer dunked, and had delectable, home-cooked meals because it was a spare season. After that, we continued our trekking around the forest to soak up the breathtaking scenery and the crisp mountain air. We highly endorse Brauereigasthof Neck. From the moment you arrive, the Herd, his mother, Lida, and their warm and welcoming employees make you feel at home and at ease. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests thoroughly appreciate their visit. The traditional Bavarian cuisine is delicious and of high quality, and the guest houserestaurant is exquisitely designed. Since 1462, the wonderful beer has been brewed and perfected in the same location. You won't be disappointed.
