Absolutely beautiful stay at del mar. Can’t fault the place one bit. Like home from home. Spotless modern & peaceful right in the heart of stalis. Run by beautiful people. Just perfect!!!!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Apartment war wunderschön und genau richtig für unsere Art von Urlaub. Es war jederzeit ein*e Ansprechpartner*in da, wenn wir sie/ihn brauchten. Wir planen schon fürs nächste Jahr!

A lovely apartment just off the strip in Stalis. Wonderful owner Deppi who was so helpful and kind. Had everything we needed in the apartment. Even had a hairdryer with a deffuser which was great for my curly hair. Bed was so comfortable. Bedding lovely quality. Can ask for extra pillows. Balcony was great with place to dry clothes, towels etc, had table and chairs. We opted for a mountain view as didnt want to be over the pool so this was organised for us. There are sunbeds along the pool. By the pool there is a place to get food and drinks run by a lovely lady. Certainly recommend and will certainly try to stay here again when we stay in Crete again.

Loved our time here. Brand new, comfortable beds, big glass balcony, spacious and very quiet. Would definitely stay again. Central for walking anywhere and very close to beach. Air con free. Deppy the owner was lovely. Don’t hesitate to book. We have stayed in Crete many times and Del Mar is definitely one of the better ones.

The appartment was a little too dark: only one small window in two rooms and we could see only a wall of another building thourth this wondow. So called terrace was again surrounded by walls and so called "view to the pool or sea" was possible by making some extra efforts :D. On another hand, the room was clean and when we asked to change the lamps which didn't work, it was done quickly.

To start, the place is as pictured, at first we were having a great time, the room and building were new so were modern with semi-comfortable beds in a fantastic location(2 mins from beach and multiple restaurants and bars). However it is strange the ‘reception’ is the bar by the pool, or the supermarket owned by the same management. I also thought it was strange there was no safe in the room like you usually find at hotels. For the first few days I was locking my jewellery and money in one of my suitcases but after a few days I got a family feel from the staff and stopped doing this to my regret…. Deppy was very nice and helpful from beginning. Iliana was the bar lady/receptionist who was very cold to us compared to other older guests. Two days before we were due to leave iliana was very suspicious and said “I thought it was your last day” this was just before the maid’s daughter(not in staff uniform) was in our room when I was dropping some shopping off. After this incident I hadn’t seen this girl on the premises again and I had an off-white t shirt missing(£200). When I asked Deppy about why the girl was in there, she said the 18yo daughter accompanied her mother sometimes and would help cleaning(however when I saw her she was in my room unaccompanied by her mother on the phone to her boyfriend whilst the room had already been cleaned looking down at my suitcase). She suggested printing another t shirt(which was a useless offer as my t shirt was real).Deppy agreed it was u
