We stayed at the Ducato Wine Hotel twice during our trip to Greece — once before our sailing trip and again on our return — and both stays were exceptional. We stayed in two different villas and each one was beautiful, comfortable, and unique. What truly made the experience outstanding was Chloe, who managed every detail of our stay with incredible care and professionalism. From arranging early check-in, transportation, and restaurant recommendations to making sure everything ran smoothly, she went above and beyond to make our trip special. The location in Megalochori is perfect for experiencing a quieter and more authentic side of Santorini while still being close to everything. We would highly recommend Ducato Wine Hotel to anyone visiting Santorini, and a special thank you to Chloe for helping make our stay unforgettable!

Unique and spacious property. Property manage was very helpful and friendly. Stay was very restful and comfortable. Has a yoga retreat vibe. Plenty of space and very clean. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer. The surrounding area was also very beautiful and easy to explore on foot. Good amenities. Can easily recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

We loved the property and the pool which is much larger than in the pictures. For a family of 5 the property was good size and Maria was excellent. She was quick to answer our questions and organise things for us. The restaurants around are very good and the Family bakery is very convenient for essentials and for a quick snack.

The property was beautiful and our group loved how authentic it felt. The pool was well maintained and there was plenty of space for 10 people. Maria was a wonderful host and helped arrange transportation for us. The surrounding town of Megalochori is small but quiet and significantly less crowded than Fira or Oia, but the trade-off is that there are no spectacular views, and fewer dining options. Note, only some of the bedrooms have air conditioning.

Having never been to Santorini and wanting to escape real life we couldn’t have stayed at a better hotel. From before arriving to leaving every experience was top notch. Maria helped coordinate all of our transportation, activities and allowed us a late checkout. Our villa was breathtaking and offered us the utmost privacy.

It's not that spectacular when the property is advertised, but I'm just seeing the pictures. The place is a peaceful and charming small town. The room and villa are the problems. I know it's common in hotels, but when you arrive, the first thing you notice is that the air conditioning is a portable unit. This is incredibly frustrating because the unit's exhaust pipe is also in the room. Any chilly air, then, is heated by the exhaust. Hard to understand why they should invest in such equipment. The room is warmer than outside. Because two of the rooms had to share a bathroom, which is nothing special for this price. WiFi is of very weak and of low quality. There are no safety deposit boxes in the rooms. There are few electrical outlets, and when some adapters were requested, there were none. Breakfast is served at the restaurant that serves as a kitchen, which is very slow. The managerapostolic made every effort to assist and accommodate any requests, but the experience was subpar. On the plus side, the manager apostolic tried his best to assist and accommodate any requests, but the experience was subpar.

Nice atmosphere with clean air, and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. The friendliness from the employees is also very good and always willing to help. The garden and pool are a fantastic place to relax and be in a private place.

We decided it would be a felony not to write a review about this place while sitting by the pool on our final night. Our trip was made wonderful by Ducats and the town of Megalochori. During our stay, the owner and concierge took great care of us. They organized our transportation and excursions. They checked on us every day and the place was cleaned whenever we requested some days we didn't need them to. The town is so lovely and charming that we rarely left, and even then we thought megalochori was the best. I would heartily recommend this location to anyone looking for a more peaceful holiday in Greece. However, raki is down the road and provides a good time for a group of 5.
