Excellent location in the very heart of the city. VERY small unit, cozy for 2, very clean, comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning. We were lucky to get one of the 3 units on top floor so had a cool sunroof window, heard the lively noise below but when closed, very quiet. Cool spot! Be prepared to haul your luggage up.

This hotel is extremely well located in the middle of Galway's vibrating heart, but the rooms are very small. Still, the bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The personnel was very attentive and helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, great location. The only issue would be the outside noise with this place being located essentially right in the heart of the entertainment district. The staff does provide you with earbuds in your room, and honestly those do help if the night is still going on. If you're a light sleeper or not taking part in the festivities it may not be ideal for you. Beyond that though, this place is a good choice - very central to just about everything in Galway.

The Snug Townhouse was the perfect spot to kick off my trip to Ireland. Being right in the heart of the Latin Corner was perfect for walking to food, whether a great brunch at Dela or to a local pub for a drink. Highly recommend for solo travellers.

amazing location! wish this place was around when i was in my 20s & coming to Galway. very small, yet clean rooms. great shower which is rare in Ireland lol. front desk staff were extremely helpful w/bags up the flights for my in-laws, as there is no elevator.

Had a lovely stay here. While our room was quite small it was perfect for a long weekend. This hotel has an unbeatable location! Staff was helpful, shoutout to Rory (manager) who offers such warm hospitality and gave us great restaurant and bar recommendations which we enjoyed immensely! Will definitely be back.

Location was wonderful and the staff very friendly. Our room was simply furnished and the bed was comfortable. Was all we needed since we spent our days out in Galway City. Restaurant recommendations were also great - will definitely return someday!

The room was Snug as expected however it is right in the middle of the Latin Quarter making it an ideal place to stay. The staff were extremely courteous and very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not for you. Otherwise, I would stay here again .

Look, the rooms are small. Don’t expect a ton of space but the hotel is literally named “snug” so. On another note, it’s clean, comfortable, and everything a solo traveler would need.
