Great stay, lovely apartment. Alittle awkward trying to organise meeting to collect keys. The area around was nice but is a walk away from real Italy. Apart from that had a good stay

Host Messaged 2 hours before check in to delay for an hour and a half and then messaged again when we arrived to delay for yet another 30 minutes. Outside of apartment is a building site with scaffolding up everywhere and very noisy building work going on. The apartment is on 5th floor accessed by stairs or a very old rickety lift supported by scaffolding. A man showed us to the apartment which had not been cleaned since the last guests had left. We waited yet another half hour whilst the man cleaned the apartment. I tried to contact Alessia but she never responded. The apartment itself is very nice (once cleaned!) No microwave but everything you need.Great central location lots of bars/food outlets but can be quite noisy The windows open inwards with shutters that open outwards, unfortunately with the scaffolding up we could not open the shutters so no daylight or fresh air. Then there is the major issue with the electricity that randomly switches off. You have to go down to the ground floor out the building around the side through a basement door down 2 flights of stairs and through some windy corridors to find the switch to turn it back on! It's dark and creepy down there and this happened several times throughout our stay! Unfortunately until all the issues are fixed I highly recommend you stay somewhere else!

Lady took us down to show us how to turn on electricity as it was a construction zone. Do not stay here. We tried to get our money back as it was nothing like advertised and she wouldn't even consider it. We have video of open construction areas as you walk a few floors down. There were bars on the window as you turned down the hallway to go to your room. Not impressed and couldn't leave quick enough.

We stayed here 2 days and 2 nights without a heater in winter with temperatures of 1 degree. The electricity would go off 6 to 8 times a day, it was a nightmare. We have to go down to a basement sinister, like catacombs, without light, with cobwebs, with mold, very cold and humid, to turn it back on. We were not able to cook or use an iron for our clothes. Not even the hair dryer or anything plugged because the moment the heater turns on the power goes out. We had to eat out every day spending a lot of money that was not our initial idea for this trip. We had to leave with our hair wet in the middle of the rain in freezing temperatures. I get sick with fever, sore throat and cough. We couldn't eve iron out clothes for the work we came here for. We didn't come here for pleasure we were working. They did not respect privacy, they entered with their key. Because of all this and the horrible experience that has cost me more money than I imagine, I'm asking for a full refund. This place should not even be offered for tourists until all this issues get fixed.
