Expensive, but worth it. Close to the Colosseum, as well as Bus Stops and Metro which will take you anywhere in Rome. The extra space made our family stay more comfortable as well. Bonus was a washer/dryer inside the apartment.

A quick and current review of the Colosseo Gardens. First, everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. From messaging prior to our trip, setting up an airport transfer, pre-check in, arrival, everything was exceptional and exactly as advertised. Gladys was wonderful and extremely helpful. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained and reasonably stocked with necessities. We did a lot of research prior to selecting in hopes of finding a great property, this one checked all the boxes. Area was safe and quiet, from the end of the street it was a short walk left to the Colosseum, right a short walk to a main thruway into downtown. Restaurants, markets, shops, all close by and easily walked. The location was perfect and easy to Uber from/to if you need to venture further out. I would highly recommend, we would stay here again. As a cautious traveler, this is a good choice. We liked the two bedrooms and twin beds for the kids. The property felt safe and secure. The streets nearby are well traveled and reasonably busy. We never once felt uncomfortable during our stay. The property arranged an airport transfer from and to with no issues and were easily reached to work thru a slight incoming delay. If you’re looking for a quieter, safer area to stay but still within close proximity, this is a perfect choice.

Perfect central location- 20min walk from train station (or 5min walk then 5min bus), 10min walk to Metro, 12 min walk to the colosseum and forum romanum. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, easy to walk to the historical sites and equally importantly easy walk to good restaurants and coffee shops. :) Everything went smoothly, from check in to check out and we enjoyed home-like features such as getting fresh fruit from the nearby grocery store and storing in the refrigerator, being able to travel with fewer clothes because we could wash and dry them in our apartment. We even cooked local handmade pasta at one point. We ate out most of the time, but it’s nice to have these options, too.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The hosts did everything they could to accommodate an early check in after a long flight. The location is perfect for a family as it’s close to major attractions and at the same time tucked away from major roads, so nice and quiet for sleeping.

Having the extra living space with the dining table and couch/TV area made this our favorite accommodation on our Italy trip...and this was out of 5 hotels! Loved having two separate bedroom spaces with a kitchen (& laundry), and the grocery store only being a 5 minute walk helped keep our family trip affordable. Not to mention it was only a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and Forum. Highly recommend!

We love the location of the condo. It’s so convenient to walk to the colosseum, Victor Emmanuel II, metro, bus station and many local restaurants!! The boys and I enjoyed our time in Rome.

The apartment was very clean and cool. Kitchen had necessities to live there for a long time. Grocery store was just 5 minutes away. Quiet neighborhood with 10 minutes walk to Colosseum or 20 minutes Terrazza Delle Quadrighe. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, if you don’t wanna cook.

Traveled with two kids aged 13 and 10. Very clean and quiet. The host was very responsive. We walked everywhere. It’s a 5 min walk to the Colosseum. It takes about an hour to get to the Vatican on foot, but a lot to see on the way! The apartment was located in a very safe neighborhood with a full service supermarket (Conad) that is a 3 min walk from the property. We ordered a ride to/from FCO through my extra home. The driver was on time. The kitchen is small but enough space for simple cooking. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend for families!

As of January 1st 2011, the Municipal Council of Rome has introduced a room occupancy tax in the amount of maximum EUR 3.00 per person per night – applicable for maximum 10 days.
