This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. Guiseppe is a 6th gen wine maker who is making wine organically and the way he has updated making process while maintaining the history and heritage was fantastic, well worth it. We liked the fact that a restaurant is on site and their pizzas are great. We were lucky to be there on Guiseppe’s birthday, he had a pool party with food and wine and we were invited to join and enjoyed the evening especially as Etna was erupting in the distance and was a sight to behold, not to mention the wine was fantastic. We will definitely stay again

This winery-accommodation was simply magical. We had a friendly check in. After dinner, we returned to have a wine tasting. We bought some wine and sipped it by the pool as we watched the sunset. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the vineyard. It was breath taking! Excellent service and experience.

I made a mistake and booked us for 2 nights instead of one, and I am delighted to have made such a mistake. Tucked under the awesome sight of Mt Etna this delightful and spacious apartment was perfect. Amongst the wine grove, there is no winery, which is what we were looking for to stay on, but couldn't find the one for our dates. There is a restaurant which serves very nice food. They let us take a half litre jug of wine back to our apartment. We were lucky the day we woke up, not blue blue sky, but clear enough to see the black plumes of smoke belching from the grumbling mountain. The apartment had a clean bathroom albeit quite small, and as usual, a very tiny shower. Bed comfortable and spacious. Totally blacked out room and dead quiet for a good night's sleeping. Only thing is the wifi didn't make it at any speed up to the apartments, so don't rely on that

I stayed one night and it was just me. Maybe this place is more for larger groups and in warmer weather. The staff was very helpful. I discovered AS116 was closed in the direction I needed to go (discovered by chance) and they were helpful in finding another route for me. They could improve the breakfast. The cereal was stale.

We stayed at Etna wine in August (2014), managed to arrive there using a GPS as it is found in a remote area but it was worth it! The estate is lovely and the view is spectacular. This is an ideal destination for those who want to get away from the city and the busy streets. The staff is very friendly and helpful, giving us information on the surrounding areas and also providing us with a delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms are spacious, well kept and clean. Highly recommended.

Fin plassering for besøk hos ulik vingårder i området.

We liked the fact that it was close to etna mountain but the photos and site discription/ experiance expectation do not add up to what you actaully get. It wassss bad. First when we got there we had just drove through some erie towns with some roads covered in trash. Then to check in we waited around for 30min before anyone spoted us. We were put in this big room that was creepy. Not to mention there was fog which added to the scary atomphere. We had dinner there and i almost puked when i ate the sause on the meatballs. The bed in the room was so bad we barley slept and left at 7am the next morning and drove to Palemo and stayed at the Alma hotel which was amazing, even tho we had paid for 2 nights here. If you really want to stay in this area and do Etna valcano activities you can go to this place called Etna golf and Spa.

The photos make this place look nice, but the rooms are very basic and even falling a part (shower parts fall off, plugs have wires exposed, lamps missing light bulbs, had to ask for extra blankets), the pool is very small and is not kept clean and the service was horrible!!!! (We were asked what time we wanted breakfast as if it were included and then we found out they wanted to charge us 10 euros for coffee and a croissant--a situation they handled very unprofessionally; I also had to work the credit card machine myself as the woman working there had no idea how to use it). When we came back from dinner in a nearby town, we found the gate closed (they never warned us it would be closed) and had to call several times before someone came to let us in.

I have made Expedia aware that the advertised facilities are not there. There is not a restaurant on site. You are in a vine grove but there is no winery on site. There is no adequate air conditioning or shade from the heat. The pool is very small and away from the accommodation block. Furniture in the rooms is old. No WiFi on site and very poor phone signal. This is not a good venue to stay. We arrived and departed within the hour accepting we had made a mistake not trusting the negative reviews and believing the inflated scores on the website. There is a total lack of care from the owners and no information available on arrival.

False advertising. No winery, restaurant closed over 2 years ago! No wifi, checkin terrible. No one in staff speaks English or cares about anything. Room stark. In the middle of no where. Paid for 2 nights but left after one night, should get refund! Not even coffee available.
