The traditional rooms are very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and always trying to understand us. We had a small accident during our day trip and were late for dinner, but they were very accommodating and served dinner when we arrived. It was our first onsen experience here and enjoyed it terribly. The food is delicious, even though some dishes are quite difficult for western visitors, we truly had an amazing experience. If we return to hakone in the future, well definitely come back here.

This place was excellent. I must return to fully explore it. The two bath houses were fantastic, and i had to give them a shot. Tried to keep the water temperature as much as possible possible. We were astounded when we entered our room, it reminded me of the 1970 s all over again, ive enjoyed these places that maintain their style. Was wellmaintained, with friendly staff. It was, in my opinion, simpler to get back to the station thanks to ebus service. Additionally, the location is ideal, because the river is on the other side and its so serene that you can easily stroll around without thinking about it while taking in the scenery.

Senkei was a lovely ryokan where you could experience the hospitality of japan! Its an affordable option compared to other hakone riesocans and still offers the amenities one would expect from relocating in tahoe town. We enjoyed dining in our room, and the cuisine was excellent. The outdoor onsen is lovely and offers breathtaking views. Body wash, etc., are the only items missing from the outdoor hot springs (this is available at the downstairs indoor hotsprings). The staff was kind and patient with us. Strongly advised!.

The rooms are spacious but empty, and the bedding and drapes are nice. They feel less like a hospital than if they are remodeled. The hotel gets one star because it has wellappointed rooms. However, the rooms have dusty balconies that could provide sweeping river views, but the balconied balconities are caged in and blocked by the hotel sign that covers the entire building. When we asked i was in the same room we booked, we were told quite rudely all rooms in this hotel are the identical. We even offered to pay for an upgrade but were informed that the hotels full capacity was full. On the next day, when the manager apologized and offered us to move to october 1 room in another building, she said the whole room was fully booked. She also needs to provide toiletries like soap and shampoo in hot springs. For the quality of the accommodation, its not justified to spend almost 20,000 yen per night. And it feels like bait and switch by not specifically stating the difference between the two hotels and their facilities. If you want to experience hakone ryokan, look elsewhere. Book jogging or rooster. Unfortunately, this motel is not good enough to be the former or cheap enough

This location truly amazed us! We stayed in the Chouji room in an ayamagaso annex. The area was excellent, just stepping or taking cab from the station. After that, we were blown away by the room! Traditional style with tatami mats. We had prepaid half board which included breakfast and dinner. Both the quantity and variety of food were incredible! The staff members were also extremely friendly, and everyone we encountered was exceptional! At night, our private bath, public bathing, as well as the outdoor bath were all very nice and relaxing. Im not sure how this place could have been better for resumptive days in hakone, but i would return every time!.

Its unfortunate that two completely different hotels share this pin. The ryokan served as the focal point of our twoweek trip and was an unforgettable experience for us. Upon checkin, the personnel were extremely friendly. Although they did appear a little dated, these two rooms were immaculate and functional. We would like to express our gratitude to the man and the girl who made our beds and brought us meals it was incredibly enjoyable to talk to them. While the meals were delicious, they were unusual for foreigners. Even though the baths werent particularly large, there was breathtaking views from the open bath in the fall. Little bridges that connected various structures were idly added. Additionally, their proficiency in english was commendable, and they assisted us in planning our trips around hakone. So, make sure you are booking the ideal hotel and have fab time!.

The distance to the train station is around 15 minutes on foot from the location. In the morning, there is a free shuttle service. My family gets an out of schedule shuttle on the day of checkout because it is raining and early in the evening. How kind of them.

I have no complaints at all. The old lady who served us the food was really sweet, and the service was excellent. On a rainy night, using the rotenburo on saturday night was ideal, while the private onsen was clean and refreshing. Our experience at senskei was marked by tradition and relaxation.

I had a wonderful time at the Senkei plaza inn. The rooms are dated in terms of entertainment, but the openair onsen is great. Also, the front desk was amazing. Well worth the stay.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was a fantastic experience as well as the onsen. The only criticism i can offer is that the appliances and facilities are quite old, but everything is kept up to date. Situated close to the station, it is really simple to walk there, especially given the steep inclines of hakone.

The hotel was conveniently located near the station and their onsen was also excellent, but the quality of the hotel is not up to par with the price paid. The room was old and had a less comfortable bed. Although the staff was friendly and carried my luggage, the suite case wheel broke during the process on three floors without an elevator. I had high expectations for the amount i paid out.
