The hotel boasts a traditional design and offers convenient transportation options, adding to its appeal in spring and autumn. The front desk staff member Xi, who speaks chinese, is exceptionally friendly and professional, providing valuable travel advice throughout her stay. We are extremely grateful for this exceptional experience!.

A very lovely little courtyard where you can feed the fish. There are outdoor hot springs with beautiful scenery. Private bathing is not expensive but not necessary, and the outdoor public pool is perfect. The room is quite large, but the bathroom is indeed small.

The courtyard is lovely, the rooms are clean despite being a bit old, and the hot spring pool is spacious and there arent many people, but the private bath is relatively basic.

This is the most expencive lodging ive ever had as a family. The experience was fantastic, the older japanese gentleman who served as the exmanager made our experience even more enjoyable. Even the younger japang duty mamager was arrogant, such he was amiable and spoke good english. For western kids, it can be challenging to find the set menu, especially if they dont like seafood. However, its truly amazing, with delicious food and plenty of it. Restaurant staff were very helpful. Baths and gardens are really beautiful, at the time of our stay, tree felling was taking place in the gardens, which did not affect our comfort. It takes 6 minutes to walk slightly uphill from the station, then you can go up the back street and try eating at traditional noodle bar. There, there was delicious and delicious cuisine.

The location is excellent. Within a 3minute walk is opulent buckwheat shop. It is an oldfashioned and wellknown restaurant. Additionally, taking sanitizing in the hot spring is quite relaxing. After checking out, you can also pay to take idr. There arent many people around. I frequently reserve the outdoor pool by myself, haha.

The rooms were recently renovated, and the garden was stunning. If you paid for the meal, it was a traditional japanese meal that was served in old tradition. I highly recommend this place.

The rooms and facilities are all fine, but the food is really inaccessible. The town of hakone is a very comfortable local town. Only the cuisine and language are suffocatingOf course, everyone in japan knows english.

The hotel environment is excellent, the room is quite cozy, and the hotel has a lovely garden view. You can reserve secluded hot springs, but in my opinion, i prefer the public hotspring to the private one. The hotels japanese cuisine is delicious, as is the service.

My partner was looking for a place to have supper after our dinner and i was in the mood for dessert so this was the perfect choice. We werent staying at the hotel so it was great that they accepted walkin guests without making reservations. The staff were very nice and attentive and the yuzu cheesecake was delicious, not too sweet and light.

The hotel itself is lovely, despite the food being disappointing. This hotels courtyard is exquisite and wellmaintained. The front desk personnel are fluent in chinese. Its cozy and roomy. Surprisingly, there was bacon and eggs for breakfast, which was the only drawback. We were served cold pasta sauce that resembled italian cuisine as a response to our attempts to switch away from western cuisine and indulge in genuine japanese dishes.

I came to hakone for the onsen experience. The gardens and onses were lovely, and they did not let me down. When i was traveling around the town of ha kone, the staff was helpful, spoke english, friendly, or even helped me get around. Unfortunately, a night when the restaurant was closed prevented me from eating on site. With wellkept tatami floors, this hotel room was roomy and traditional. Modernizing the bathrooms and rooms furniture is needed.

The location is good, close to main street but not on it. The rooms are spacious and have a nice view. Japanese garden is assume and pretty big. Only downside for us was the futon mattress which was worn out and only buckwheat pillow which is difficult to sleep with.

This is a fairly upscale ryokan with shady gardens. The rooms are quite spacious and clean, and the service is firstrate. I had mediocre meals at the japanese restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent. However, the onsen amenities arent topnotch. It doesnt feel particularly welcoming or cozy when you enter the male indoor bath, which is an enormous dark hall full of mist and consists of ten large bathtubs. You must enter to take illinois, shower, dry yourself, put on your clothes, go through the common area to the outdoor bath because the men outdoor bathroom is unrelated to it. But the bath itself is fine. Overall, this location is decent, although i wonder if there is greater value elsewhere.
