The private beach is closer to the lodge than a 5-minute stroll away. The five-person family would be pleased in the lodges themselves. Besides that, Mtunzini Lodge is less than ten minutes away from a 9-hole golf course. A wonderful and comfortable dinner can be had at a variety of family-run restaurants. Kwazulu natal is one of the hidden gems. Since there are many monkeys that tries to eat in the chalets, visitors are advised to keep the doors and windows shut at all times because the rooms do have air conditioning.

The facilities are good and very intimate. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The only negative thing is that it's a very tiring walk to the beach and there's no sea view from any of the chalets.

The lodge is sandwiched among lush tropical foliage. The cabins are hidden under the trees and made of logs, and it almost resembles a tree home environment. All of the staff members were really helpful and pleasant. We called to have a housekeeping issue fixed, and it was quickly and without any issues. The cabins were simple but clean and comfortable for a small family. It is very hot, but with the fans and windows it is manageable. However, due to loads, the heat built up and can occasionally be quite oppressive. Id advise packing some torches and lights in case it happens because there is only one candle in the cabin. There is also a lovely walk to the beach and small trials that originate in the lodge as well. The entertainment equipment is also great and the pool area has recently been updated. But the lodges driving surfaces are the only disadvantage. If you are a small car or a small car, you might scrape or struggle. overall good vacation!.

The chalets are very small, especially the second bedroom. We had no space to move around the bed or put our suitcase anywhere. The bath needed a return. The area is beautiful and the beach and radha palm walks can be reached from the chalet. Mtunzini is a well maintained cute little town.

The price is worth it and you can play it if you want to do it yourself. The location is strategically located in the most lovely forest with monkeys and birds everywhere. The pool was cool and the kids loved it. The cleanliness of the house was very good but old and messy.

Hi, The place is beautiful and the cabins are amazing, but not for the elderly or anyone with mobility challenges. Our cabin had many stairs. To get to the swimming pool - many stairs. To get to the private beach - for me was impossible. They said it was 50m from the parking area. That was the longest 50m I have ever walked (+- 500m) Although the walk on the wooden boardwalk was pleasant, an insurmountable sand dune without stepping stones, walkway or even rope to pull on to help with the ascent, prevented me from reaching the sea. :( A handrail at the steps in the pool would also be appreciated. Otherwise very nice place.
