An excellent hotel where you feel like you're in a unique location. The staff is exceptionally polite and willing to serve all your needs. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the nearest beach and 30 minutes from the old town, but they also rent very nice bicycles for free, which is a great idea for San Sebastian, which is mostly flat and has lots of cycling lanes. Breakfast was good for healthy eaters, with plenty of fruit, nuts etc. and the option to request eggs done in a variety of ways. They do not serve a truly big cooked breakfast unless you like it. Our apartment was in an ancient house and was beautifully decorated and elegant, with everything we needed. The communal areas on the ground floor are also beautiful, with a guest lounge and a bar breakfast room that are both lovely. A couple of things to note are that there isn't really any outdoor relaxing space other than a bar terrace with tables and chairs. So no communal outdoor sofas or lounges. However, some of the rooms in the new building appeared to have small gardens with lounges, so it is best to book one of those if it's important. We didn't mind because it was October, but in summer we would have liked more outdoor space. On the plus side, there is a nice gym in the basement with brand new equipment in it. Overall, we had a great time here and would recommend this hotel to everyone!. This is a wonderful hotel, full of charm and character, and conveniently located for exploring San Sebastian City! The staff in every area of the hotel was incredibly pleasant and efficient, the breakfast was excellent, and the bedroom was gorgeously furnished. We chose secure parking because it was necessary.

Highly recommended! For my first trip to San Sebastian, which lasted only two days, I chose a villa type based on star-ta review patterns and descriptive details, and I found it exactly as many reviewers had described. Beautiful property, very carefully designed and designed rooms of various sizes, although all quite large, a variety of public spaces and clusters of rooms that would make weddings or family gatherings obvious fits for the place, staffed by smart, beautiful star people at every encounter that seem eager to take care of anything for you, a great breakfast, good room service, and as reviewers noted there was no restaurant service per se, but all sorts of options down near the old town and the beaches are easy to reach on foot.

This is without a doubt one of the nicest and most comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in. Amazing staff, great receptionist at check-in, and extremely helpful and informative bartender All the main staff members speak impeccable English which was very helpful and saved their ears from our very basic and badlypronounced Spanish! There is no actual restaurant, but the room service menu can be eaten in the lovely dining bar area. Wish we could have stayed longer, we were just in San Sebastian on our way to Salander to catch the ferry. We will definitely make this a destination stay the next time. Can't wait to return!.
