The price is worth what you get. The staff was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a break from hostels. You get what youre paying for, as i said. Value for the money. Friendly and helpful service. Beautiful view. Its advisable to take if the location is rocky! However, it wasnt too far at once even though it was away from the crowds! The bed was spotless, and there was en suite balcony. As ive previously stated, you receive whatyou pay for. Excellent value for money in my opinion.5.0/518 Apr 2023

My experience was fantastic, i went in may 2022 and booked a normal room and they gave me the best room available with the greatest views. From my balcony, both beaches could be seen, and it was surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The only drawback was that there were numerous steps to get to the room, but the views were worthwhile. I would not recommend this room for anyone with knee problems, instead, im going to say that you must be quite fit for the top cottages. Very friendly staff who assist you in bringing your luggage to your room as well as picking you up at the port using tuktu. Everything was spotless, the bed was beautifully decorated with towels with swan shape. However, because the bathroom is drab, there is no electricity in the space, youll need to ask for jy at reception for this. A charming little cottage tucked away among the hills of phi island. The view from the window is simply breathtaking. It seems like you are somewhere in between a paradise, or rather, if you call it tropical paradise. Although the rooms are clean, they are albeit fewer, and the bathroom could have been larger. A pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. I appreciate the cozy, lovely design of the lodge.4.8/518 May 2024

Very basic accommodation, clean and comfortable bed, hot shower, rooms and property are very old, like back in the 80 s, but the staff are friendly. There is a sign inside the room that breaks down all damages, even down to the hot water dispenser, bed sink, towels, etc.4.8/52 May 2024

The people here are really kind and helpful. They assisted us with our baggage and provided various services. Water bottle at checkin. The room is nice and spacious, but it really needs to be renovated. Shower is very weak! I cant wash my hair. Air conditioning is extremely loud and not fully operating. Safe was clogged. Swimming pool smelled strongly of chlorine and the floor inside was broken - looks dangerous. Be prepared for a lot of steps (which isnt bad) and monkey jumping on the metal roof at 6 am.4.8/515 Feb 2024

The staff is very nice and helpful. They met you at the pier, took your bags and brought them to your room. There are no motorbikes or cars on the island so you have to walk everywhere. On the day you leave, they will also take your luggage back to the dock. I wish i could give a better review because the room is simple and clean and the staff are very friendly and useful, but there are some drawbacks. You might be in for tying up the stairs to get to that room depending on which room you are in. The amazing view is the tradeoff. Also, the way the rooms are made allows you to see everything outside of the hotel. Sometimes until around 3 am, there is loud music on this island and you can hear it clearly during the night.4.6/527 Jun 2024

I have a mix feeling here. Someone was waiting to help with suitcases at the ferry dock which was very nice. The hotel wears its name well. Cottages are on the hill, with many uneven stairs to climb to reach your room. Luckily not i was in trouble but something to consider for people with low physical condition and/or problems with legs, knees, etc. Room is very simple but ok for the price. View is beautiful. On the more negative side, the air conditioner rejects water, he placed troughout the bathroom to collect this surplus. But it is too small and fills up very quickly. I used the garbage bin instead and although it was 5 times bigger, it didnt fill up all night so. Water everywhere in the restroom in morning. They also have an extremely long list of price items on their wall, including amount(s) you would pay if you damage something (some are simply not reasonable at all) and they checked at last. Even though everything was fine, there was this feeling that the hotel is run knowing that customers are unlikely to return. And ill not. It wasnt my first visit to khpi, but because of ubud, we ended up in uphill cottage due to late bookings. We chose what was available rather than what we wanted. I spent three days and two nights there with my wife. It has a mix of emotions. Because it is uphill, my room has an excellent outlook. There is besides my accommodation, i have secluded places where we can relax and take in the lovely, refreshing morning and night air. However, in exchange, you may need to climb incredibly high every day for ten minutes each day. Although there isnt easiness, there are hair dryers accessible, but youll need them from the counter. The pool is small. I never try it because it always occupies others. Breakfast is served in utmost western fashion, featuring sausage, fruit, and bacon. To maintain your energy and continue exercising, im advised that you eat breakfast so you can get enough of it. Due to the limited options, we did get bored with the breakfast. Since it takes ages to get up from here, they will assist us in carrying our luggage up off the jetty, which is convenient because the trip is lengthy. But not for the time we check out. We are okay with that, though, as it doesnt climb as much.4.6/511 Mar 2024

This place is close to the main city of phi, so you wont be disturbed by the young wild nightlife of tourists. Its also close but not too close with the major city in philippines. They are very friendly and helpful in any way, giving you a free beach towel to bring with you and back and helping with any requests you may have. This place is only a short distance from the center of phi. Uphill cottage was incredibly pleasant, and getting to your room requires you to go upstairs. However, the higher the room, you get the better view! Its stunning, in my opinion. The staff here are friendly, as are their boat trips. A fantastic stay.4.6/514 Dec 2023

The location is peaceful and pleasant, but if monkeys arent jumping on the roof early in the morning, you will have a small workout upstairs unless you choose an upper apartment. However, there is fortunately i can see fewer monkey jumps on top of the building.4.6/52 Aug 2023

The service and staff are very friendly and always ready to help and guide you around. They helped us with some useful information about places to visit, tours to book, places for dinner etc. The staff were also happy to entertain us in any special requests we made. Overall they are quite happy guiding you and helping you in every way they can. Climbing to the rooms is a bit of hors dingy on uneven steps with no handrails but usually i am happy with that for tastier exercise after meals.4.6/57 Mar 2023

The bungalows are actually uphill, ours was just below the top ones and there were 129 steps to the door, but dont let that deter you. The higher the bungalow, the better the view. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good value for the price, especially if you want to be further away from the beach party music and squabble of town below.Popular Facilities

Uphill cottage is separated bungalows provide you with 40 rooms divided in too air con rooms and fan rooms. Its just 8 minutes walk from the pier. Every bungalow in here is design to have balcony around the bungalows covered with the garden and if you come and stay overnight here you will feel it's liked a second home for you and your families.
