We enjoyed our one night stay at Harbour House very much. It was delightfully situated in Ullapool on our NC 500 route road trip. Host, Sara, gave us a very warm friendly welcome and checking in was quick and easy. Harbour House was very tastefully decorated throughout. There was a very nice large and airy lounge area with a choice of comfortable seating and tables. There was also an assortment of books to read. The lounge led out to an outdoor patio area with seating to relax on that overlooked the loch- beautiful! Our twin room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. It also had real hanging space. (One place we stayed had six coathangers placed on door hook) Breakfast was excellent with good assortment. I can highly recommend Harbour House, its the perfect place to stay in Ullapool.

An immaculately clean small double room,with a beautiful view of the loch. Delicious breakfast,speedily served despite most guests all arriving at 7.45. Check out was not open before we left,but keys could be left on the desk.

This was a great visit. Host was very helpful. The room was spotless and up-to-date. The lounge and outside seating areas with a view of the water were added bonuses. Be aware that if you are walking from the ferry with a suitcase, it's a bit of an uphill trip of about 20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others.

We really liked Harbour House where we stayed for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway. Finding the place is easy and there is plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If we had known how pleasant Ullapool is, we would have stayed longer!

This hotel looks a bit dated from the outside but is very nice inside. The room I had was compact but very newly decorated and had a nice view of the loch. The hotel is a short walk to town for meals and the in-house breakfast is good
