James and Angela are wonderful and the house is in great condition. This was our second time with them and we would do it a third. Only recomendation for James is have some portable fans on hand for the hot summer days/nights.

Mardon was within 5 min walk of the centre but in a quiet location. James & Angela were v welcoming and gave advice on the local area - sights to take in and places to eat and drink, I was in Room 5 at the back and it was immaculate. The room and ensuite both looked as if they’d recently been refurbed - both spotless. I slept very well. There was a good choice for breakfast which I had to pre-order the day before. The full cooked breakfast was incredible! Tea and coffee making facilities were in my room and two nice choccie biscuits every day - a nice touch. It was a great stay. Highly recommended. So much to see in and around Inverness so I will be back!

Nice cosy single room. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. There was a dressing gown to borrow. The breakfasts had lots of choice and was available from 7:30. The owners were very attentive and helpful. It was in an ideal spot as it was about a 10min walk to town.

Our 3-night stay at Mardon House was just perfect. James and Angela are great hosts: friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, James gave us a quick orientation to the city with a helpful photo and map in the hall. The twin room was clean and well-furnished, including the en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast offerings, including cold and cooked items, and Angela makes the BEST porridge. Mardon house is an easy 15-minute walk from the train station and well-placed to explore most of Inverness on foot, including great restaurants, shopping, and the Botanical Gardens. We will definitely stay there again.
