A fantastic find , right on top of murrayfield and a 10min cab ride into Edinburgh , I recommend The Mill House for a short stay close to all amenities.

I had a great experience staying here. It was easy to find, the folks at check-in were super nice. Everything was totally great. It’s a short walk from Murrayfield Stadium and the tram (about 15 minutes)

Very close to the stadium. Buses down the block that goes right to city center.

The Mill House fue muy conveniente para mis necesidades y el proposito de mi viaje. De muy fácil acceso y traslado para viajar hacia el centro de la ciudad y la relación costo-beneficio me pareció apropiada.

Liked the rooms and building as was clean and quiet. Not much in the way of dining options.

This is a student accommodation building that is empty during the uni break. It's around 25 minutes away by bus from the city centre/waverly station, and quiet empty nearby. The bus stop is 4 minutes by walk from the place. There's a McDonald's nearby that's open late, and an Asian grocery store downstairs. It's a great place if you want to visit during the Fringe, as there's not a lot of places within the city that are at this price or quiet enough to sleep. But even then it was a bit expensive just to sleep. The mattresses are lumpy and worn out, the linen dusty, the floor not vacuumed enough, but if you are walking all over the fringe, what you need is a bed to pass out in a quiet room and that's there. There's no one to open your door if you lose the key, and they want to charge you money to bring another a person who lives in the same building to unlock it for you. The check in and check out was smooth, and the student representative was quite helpful. I would live here again but for not more 3/4 days when all I need is a bed to crash.

Room was small but clean and comfortable with a great bed. The structure is easily accessible from.the airport directly and has plenty of buses for the cuty centre. It is ideal to explore edinburgh and was great value during the fringe

Well it is student accom so I didn’t expect much but it was actually much better than the reviews. Clean, comfortable, lots of storage, and check in was easy. Bus ride from the city and useful. Only negatives were 1. No bin and you are supposed to take your rubbish outside 2. No kettle and no way of obtaining a hot drink 3. The shower, tho fine, didn’t drain properly. But all in all was a useful place to stay and a better price than most during the Fringe

I ended up being satisfied with my stay - the facilities are perfect for one person. I tried to get check-in information by the e-mail provided the week before arrival, as I would be arriving late from the airport and wanted to know what to do; after providing my booking number I ended up being asked if I knew where I was staying…? I replied but never got an answer. Only the evening before arrival did I get all the information I was looking for via message on hotels.com - very detailed, but late when you just want to have an abstract before departure. The room is dusty on all surfaces and the bed is very hard.

It served its purpose. Good: Everything was new and in good shape, it was quiet, private bathroom, and near several bus stops and a grocery store. Not so great: Half of the plugs weren’t working, there was no rubbish bin in the room, the floors needed a good sweep. There was no access to the kitchen, which meant no tea and no filling a water bottle. Having booked through Expedia, and with no on site folks except for check in, I’m not sure how I could communicate any big problems if they had come up. None of these were deal breakers. It was a private, safe place for a good price.

Great for a bed and bathroom facilities. Shame there’s nothing to facilitate a coffee in the morning. If you’re staying here then definitely pack an electric travel kettle and some coffee sachets.

Access to buses great. Due to hard flooring and fire doors with self closers unfortunately, quite noisy within the building. Not all occupants remembered the 10pm 'quiet'. As rooms are only ventilation from one small windows overheating when room faces sun could be problematic. No formal reception so must check in between 3-5:30pm otherwise there will be delays getting to your room.

They removed "shared kitcen" from the amenities after my booking and there's no notice about it. No kettles, no fridges, no microwave. I did pack my luggage with the thought of using above items so I could not accept. The location is quite nice, all the buses go to the centre of Edinburgh, there're several supermarkets. In morning, seagulls are crying and I open the window to get the room cool (no AC,) so I woke up every 4 a.m. That was also horrible.

There was literally no one to speak to and no one to attend to your needs. All they did was to rent out a room with absolutely no amenities rather than a bed and a chair and towels. No hand wash liquid, no trash bin or pastic bag to collect your trash, no hanger to hang your clothes, no fridge, no water. And there was no number to contact. I put them a message on Expedia portal, no response. The water in bathroom was too hot and the temperature could not be adjusted. Waste water got stock while taking a bath. Stains on the sheets. Overall zero quality for the money paid. The area where the hotel was also very poor.

First up the good about this place. The check in with Ryan was very smooth at 15:00. I went to my room, found it, found that my blackout blind would go down but not up and that I had no toilet roll. So I go downstairs and tell Ryan, he tells me to message the management, so I did. This went ignored, so I have had a broken blackout blind all holiday. My friend gave me a toilet roll as she had multiple (thankfully). The room is mostly functional, beds ok,.not great but I wasn't expecting great for the price point. Even when you sent me then "are you ok" message after the three I had sent you and you had ignored I still didn't get a response so one star for communications too. Bathroom shower plug was mostly blocked which let the water out at a snails pace.which is why you have one star for cleanliness. So yeah other than that, if you can work through the defects in the room and it's lack of cleanliness you can have a realitivly comfortable stay here which is Why I give this place two stars.

Bed was not clean upon arrival, complained each day and messaged here on the app. And no response has been made even now after the booking! All surfaces had not been cleaned properly including the chair which was full of dust. Could feel the bed springs from the top of the duvet And the shower was blocked and had a swimming pool in the room for more than 24 hours from the blocked shower. Even after reporting this - Nothing was done about it. Dreadful

The price is not worth the issues.
