I love this hotel, everything is super clean, beautiful, cozy, and peaceful! Love to sit in those rocking chairs looking right to the mountains.. the pool, the rooms, the lobby, everything is beautiful, and very well maintained. The restaurant is delicious! It's def my fave spot in NH. Highly recommend!!

An historic, quaint hotel nestled in a beautiful setting. Incredible for the price, especially being dog friendly. Staff are so nice and bed is very comfortable. No greater zen experience than either sitting in one of the many rocking chairs on the veranda porch or sitting by the pool listening to the winds through the trees. And Jackson is such a beautiful retreat.

Liked the location and history. Unlike scheduled smores campfire for Wednesday and no staff around to hold the scheduled event. Unlike unfriendly attitude of Chef although food was excellent. 1st day we were offered cookies at check in and I asked in a light hearted manner "Are they fresh and warm from this morning?" The girl at desk asked the Chef who was standing nearby and he abruptly said " They were made today!" His face was very serious and unfriendly. We moved on. The next day my Wife saw the same Chef on a golf cart and when he passed by at close proximity, she waved and smiled and he did not return the gesture and kept driving by. Simple kindness goes a long way....We will return to the resort but probably eat off property.

I have a soft spot for antique hotels. The energy and architecture. The unique rooms and stories. Eagle Mountain is one of my favorites. And it’s priced well below what I would expect. Our stays here are always great, and it’s not just pet friendly, it’s pet welcoming. Can’t wait to come back.

I had a pleasant stay with my dogs. The hotel is older but clean, has friendly staff, great pet policy with no pet fees, great breakfast, a convenient location near Conway, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Loved the historical significance and serenity! Beautiful location and they have a nice bar, restaurant and pool. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. You really have everything you need there. Golfers will have something to do as well, there is a 9 hole course on the property. If you are a family of skiers stay at Eagle Mountain House in the winter and Ski Black Mountain, you will have memories that you will cherish a lifetime.

Very cute historic hotel built in 1879, complete with all the creaky floors, wavy window glass, wooden veranda/porch, antique furniture, amazing views, etc that only these grand hotels can provide. I LOVED sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch looking toward the mountains. The elevator, also original, was a tad "creepy" (in a joking way) but very interesting to ride on too. The beds were just a little too soft for me but were still comfortable enough to get a decent nights sleep. The shower pressure was quite good. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and bar were all super friendly and informative. I would absolutely stay here again.
