We stayed in a quaint cabin room with a deck over looking a small stream. It was so peaceful to enjoy listening to the stream and birds singing in the trees in the evening and then again the following morning with our coffee. Since it has a rustic vibe, we weren’t sure what to expect for amenities. There was a 3/4 bath, retro looking mini fridge, and microwave. We enjoyed coffee in our room and were with in walking distance of a couple restaurants for supper in the evening and breakfast the next morning.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our cabin was cute and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Lamar Valley and the Beartooth Highway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grizzly Lodge in Silver Gate. Our room was cute and spacious, just steps from our car so no stairs to climb. We could just walk across the road to eat dinner. We were just outside the park and only a few minutes to Cooke City. We would definitely stay here again!

This little lodge was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring the Lamar valley. It is right at the edge of Yellowstone, dinner options were a 1 minute walk, great views, campfire and friendly check-in. The room had everything we needed, was clean, everything worked, good shower and mattress. Not the latest in decoration, but fit perfectly into the setting. From the outside, we could see tools and materials that they are using to continue to fix the property up, but didn’t effect our wonderful stay. I felt the room was much more comfortable than the night we spent in Old Faithful Inn!

The Grizzly Lodge is a great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. We arrived late at night and the staff was there to greet us, get us checked in quickly and even had a campfire going to make the experience that much better. The room was clean and exactly as described. The furniture and fixtures were all a bit dated, but that kind of is the vibe of the place and wasn’t a problem. I’d stay there again!
