Breakfast was very good

The room was nicely appointed. The breakfast was of nice quality and quantity. The front desk staff were especially helpful at check-in and answering questions/making recommendations throughout our stay. Ben and Ashley were particularly notable.

Irish touches everywhere. Best coffee ever. Had king suite, bed comfy and blackout curtains a nice touch. Bathroom spotless and good water pressure (and nice nonslip surface in tub shower) plus bow out curtain rod. One recommendation: the main room with sofa/tv and microwave/minifridge area is really lacking in light - room is very dim at night. Pub is nice with great food and the breakfast was good.

Not only is this property the most unique and beautiful place to visit, but the staff was wonderful and the breakfast in the authentic Irish pub was delicious!! Can’t wait to stay here again. Extremely clean, comfy beds, exquisite library, and so much character.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The Irish theme was throughout the place, from the artwork on the wall to the attached Irish Pub. The food at the pub was delicious, and again, the Irish theme was present. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. It's in close proximity to downtown Galena, so shopping was close by.

The property was charming with Irish flare. We only stayed overnight. We used the shuttle to get back and forth to downtown Galena. Our driver was excellent. I recently had surgery so my walking skills were limited. He dropped us off at the Fried Green Tomatoes door and picked us up when we were ready. The breakfast buffet was very good too. All of the staff was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Irish Inn! We particularly love the fact that they had teatime, a lovely library to relax in and enjoy our tea, and musical entertainment in the evening, which included a violinist and guitarist along with Irish dancers. It was the perfect Fourth of July getaway!

Super nice and nostalgic. Amazing breakfast! Restaurant/bar was superb! 10/10 recommend! Rooms were great also! Just 1/2 mile from a Distillery and a mike from Main street!

Breakfast was disappointing, one person can not handle breakfast with a set menu. Buffet would have been better

Staff was friendly, check in and out was easy. The serving and dining staff were excellent, as was the food. Their Rueben is the best I’ve ever had, and breakfasts were great! We will definitely be back!

Loved the Irish theme throughout the hotel and pub. Staff were helpful and cheerful. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pub food was delicious; the atmosphere authentic to an Irish pub. They even had Guinness draught and Irish cider!
