Room was very nice and comfortable. Appreciated the temprepedic mattress topper. Also, slow clap and extra stars for supplying 3 pillows per person and 3 types of pillow. Well done. Robes, nice continental breakfast, GREEK yogurt parfait bar. AND yet another solid choice, GLASS not plastic bottles of San Pelecrino in the no host honor bar. Tiny area for improvement, great job having a bottle of still water and glasses waiting the room. Refill the bottle in the mornings or...place a pitcher at the honor bar so we can refill. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

We absolutely adored our stay here. The house was easy to find, parking was plentiful, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like we were staying with a beloved relative. The entire space is warm, welcoming, and full of character. We stayed in the Blue Room, which overlooked the street from a lovely balcony. It was quiet, filled with beautiful morning light, and spacious enough to spend a relaxing afternoon reading or simply enjoying the room. While the bathroom was shared with another guest, it somehow added to the charm—it felt more like a cozy sleepover than a hotel stay. Breakfast was my favorite part of each morning. It was a simple European-style spread with cheese, meats, fruit, coffee, and other thoughtful offerings. There is also a bright, beautiful room to enjoy breakfast, read a book, or unwind with a cocktail in the evening. The entire home feels like a preserved piece of Spokane’s history—part Victorian, part reflection of the city’s lumber-era roots. Everywhere you look there are details to admire, and it’s easy to lose yourself in the beauty of the space. We originally booked two nights for the weekend, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay for an extra night before heading back to Seattle. It was the perfect way to treat myself and slow down a little longer. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Spokane.

This is a delightful old home which has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1987. I loved the wraparound porch. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast was nice: yogurt w granola and fresh fruit; croissant; 7-minute boiled eggs...same each day. I wanted to use the croquet set but we never quite got to it. Some reviews mentioned a problem with the shared bathroom if you choose one of those two rooms. I thought it was fine. Everyone was considerate. However, if you are traveling alone I wouldn't recommend staying in a room without its own bathroom because it is, indeed, an old house that is not heavily populated, and that could seem spooky if you have to leave your room to use the bathroom/shower at night. There is street noise from the Garden Room, but turning on the wall unit A/C was plenty for covering it up, as another reviewer helpfully suggested.

Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again.

This was my second time staying at the Marianna Stoltz House. The property is absolutely charming. You feel like you are invited into a friend's old historic home. The attention to detail is beautiful. Holland is taking good care of her guests. It's truly a unique experience.

We chose the Blue room, and it was lovely! Very comfortable, and we enjoyed the decoration. I was hesitant to reserve, as it was our first B&B, but I am glad we did! I felt comfortable throughout, enjoyed the feel of being in a home. Breakfast was on time, and was perfect . Coffee was really good. We plan on returning in the future. Plus, it is close to all kinds of great food and colleges, as we were there to watch football.

Wonderful old-fashioned mansion. Floor to ceiling fabric curtains with liners on all four windows. Gigantic brass framed mirror. Busy little suburb street outside, but nobody’s honking. Can’t wait for breakfast at the bed and breakfast.
