Parking is easy. Location to beach and Washington street is nice walk. We’ve stayed 2 summers in a row and love it. The staff was accommodating and kind.

My room was clean as was the bathroom. The staff were available if needed but stayed in the background so that you felt a sense of independence as if it were your own property. Breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. And in the afternoon tea and cookies awaited guests in the lobby. Most rooms require climbing stairs but there are a few on the main floor for anyone with limited mobility. I highly recommend the Dormer House.

Great hot breakfast served every morning was one of the highlights of our trip. The B&B is well decorated and maintained. It is located with walking distance to Washington street or the beach. We have lived there 5 years ago and would like to come back in the future!

Extremely friendly and kind staff. The breakfast was delicious and there were nice amenities. So lovely to have parking, outdoor showers, the towels/chairs, and a nice room for the style. Very easy to walk to everything you’d want in cape may. Highly recommend and would return.

We loved our stay at the Dormer House. Authentic old Cape May, quiet neighborhood, easy walk to just about everything. This is not a 'bells and whistles' place, more like going to visit a cherished old family member. Perfect!

Parking is easy & convenient. As Dormer House is a Victorian house built in the late 1800s it is not really handicapped accessible & you will need to do stairs. The B&B is very clean, the breakfast is good & you won’t walk away hungry. The location is excellent, walkable to most anything in Cape May. Nancy, the innkeeper, is very friendly & helpful. With self check-in, Staff is not always physically present but always available by phone. We’ve been staying here 2-3 times a year for the past 5 or so years & we always feel at home & welcome. You need to keep in mind it is an old building so it’s not perfect.

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful staff, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies! Love that there is a parking lot for the guests and the location is great. This is always my “go to” spot when I visit Cape May!
