Great place to stay with the restaurant on property. The only way to see the canyon iis with the Tours. Learned so much about the Navajo People and the ancient ruins.

There are (at least) two wonderful aspects of Thunderbird Lodge. In no particular order, the first relates to the location of Thunderbird, inside Canyon de Chelly. The second is the friendly, welcoming, generous staff of people at the hotel who reflect the spirit of ancestors who lived in this inspiring location!

We had a great stay at the Thunderbird Lodge in Canyon de Chelly! First, it was located right within the park and it was amazing to be able to drive five minutes and already see the beautiful canyon. We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which was very good and also super convenient. Our room was super comfortable, and it was especially nice to return to our cozy room after a fantastic three hour tour of the canyon. Thank you for the great stay!

A great stay at a historic place. We loved being in Canyon de Chelly area...so close. Nice to have the services on site. Tours of the Canyon de Chelly, full service food and hotel, gifts and some supplies.

sad was the room was a little musty so when we turned on the AC for a while and stepped out it was fine when we got back to the room . Great bed for sleeping . The HOT water was almost scalding but appreciated Great area lots to see and do with the Canyon WOW !
