The host named surelee was very kind and friendly. We stayed for 3 days and it was great to take the mountain tour she arranged for us. It was also very nice to be able to sit with her family and learn about true hmong village life. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location, prepare yourself for a brief but steep hike to reach the homestay, which is surrounded by rice fields. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. A little pricey for the food and beverages! They offer excellent trekking.

We had a wonderful few days at surelee homestay. The staff was extremely helpful and even welcomed us at 3 am at night for checkin. If you want to experience an authentic natural experience outside of the crowds in central sapa, the location is ideal. Strong wifi, comfortable beds including extra thick blankets for cold nights, delicious food, and an incredible bamboo trek through the paddies. We couldnt have asked for more, especially at such favourable prices! Would return here tomorrow if we could.

The location was ideal because it was far from the main area of sapa. We were surrounded by beautiful rice fields, natural scenery, and a lovely outdoor area to relax. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, surelee and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. However, the problem came with my partner itchy and covered in what looked like bed bug bites after our stay. Hope they can fix this situation, as everything else was great.

The stay was wonderful, with a view of rice fields and the city center only 8 kilometers away. The dinner was delicious, and surelee treated us like friends. And then, the bed was very comfortable. After that, i had the best sleep ever there, plus the breakfast was also amazing. Plus, sureles family is very welcoming to guests.

I will most certainly return to this lovely location. Totally worth the price. Surelee is the owner of surele homestay. She was really helpful and kind. Even though i couldnt check in early because the room ive reserved still has guests who havent checked out yet, she gave me a towel so ill take snooze. He set up fewer expensive grab motorcycles to drive me to the bus stop. The setting is beautiful, and the balcony overlooks the mountains. Maybe the breakfast doesnt come with bottled water, but its probably ok.

The taxi driver asked us 300 k to get there. If you negotiate, you can probably get it for 250 kilos. Youll need to walk 2 minutes up the road to leave the taxi, just follow the directions of the other homestay. The location is beautiful and the owners are lovely. When you arrive, they explain the treks you may do and if you want to eat a traditional dinner the next day (you should try it, it was pretty good, and we spoke with other nice travelers). There is one shared bathroom that is cleaned on yearly, which is quite nice. Bring earplugs unless you have trouble sleeping because the place is completely nonsoundproof. We arrived there on the first night it wasnt very cold, but we had incredibly warm blanket. It is highly recommended by us. People were friendly. Going on an excursion was so enjoyable, learning about the customs and seeing those breathtaking views.

Ms. Surelee and her family run the homestay. But because the host is the only one who can speak english fluently, she is constantly occupied by visitors. Even so, from setting up transportation to her place to returning to sapa town and everything in between the six nights we stayed there, She has been very helpful. There is a steep climb between where the taxi could stop and his location. People with large luggage that cant be converted into sacks might have problems. Of course, nothing carries u down that slope. Our double room, in my opinion, is alone with i believe, has hardly any balcony. Other rooms with balconies are family rooms. Their balcony is larger but less private. Motorbikes, whining, and barking dogs start to make noise in our room starting around 5.30 am. Due to the houses design, we could even hear the guests in the adjacent room whisper, let alone talk. Family rooms dont appear to have such issues. Apart from that, the nights were quiet, as well as the opportunity to eat and talk to other guests. The only challenge of staying there was using the two toilets that are also shower rooms or shower areas. They are not only for visitors but also for the hosts and their families. So during peak hours, they are constantly busy. If you are prone to use the restroom in

The owner is very kind and friendly. Bring earplugs and youll be fine! There is no sound isolation in the rooms and the rooster woke us up early in morning.

The location and Linda family are amazing! The place is located in the idyllic rice fields 9 km outside of the SaPa bus station. You can take a taxi around 250.000 or walk for 2 hours or rent o moto in Sapa and drive here. Lindas house basically does everything. She has tastier food, he has small shops, you can rent bikes from him, book taxis and arrange tours. On remark in advance, only cash, and the next atm is in papoo.

Ill return here. My stay was made very cozy and homey by surelee and her husband, who are incredibly helpful. On the coldest and coldeste day in vietnam, they placed an extra large blanket in the room. The slumber ive ever had, and ive been backpacking north of viennam for three weeks! The space is also not overrun with people, despite the fact that there were less than ten tourists staying during my visit, which kept the atmosphere calm and peaceful.

I heartily endorse surelees homestay. She provided excellent service, assisted us in reserving bus tickets, and made sure we arrived safely at the bus station. The cuisine was outstanding, the accommodations were spotless, undisturbed, or had breathtaking views. Very serene ambiance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this homestay. Although the rooms were simple and most of what was going on in the house were audible, that is what you are signing up for when you book this kind of accommodation. Surelee was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Both nights we were there, we had a family dinner, and the food was delectable. The cost of this location is unbeatable as well. Our guide was also wonderful and we went on spotting the home stays route. If you want an authentic experience, this place is advisable.

Surelee is lovely. Always eager to assist with whatever we needed (early checkin, reservation of our bus to ha giang, trekking trips, etc.). Towels included, complimentary breakfast pretty decent. Try the herbal tea, a local beverage. It appears to have no sugar or honey, but it is quite sweet. There are several hiking routes close by. I would recommend having if you want to go for tavern, as it was incredibly enjoyable to meet other guests at the homestay. Keep in mind that the stay is 30 minutes from the sap center. We rented opulent motorcycles, and it worked perfectly for us, giving us freedom to move around. If you dont have your own transportation, consider taking cabs $$ for almost every location, except for some hikes nearby. Last but not least, there is he shed onsite unless you have one on the main road, which is where you should park it. The homestead is 200 meters up the 200 mts up, making it very slippery when it rains.

The homestay is a short 5minute walk from the main road, but the atmosphere next to the rice field is great. The family is very welcoming and helpful, the bamboo trek we chose to go on is highly recommended, make sure you have quality trekking/hiking shoes, mosquito repellent and sunscreen, and also the traditional hmong dinner is an absolute musttry. And they make the best coffee weve had in vietnam, period.

It was a great experience to stay at this homestay, away from the bustle of the city. It offered incredibly pleasant surroundings and ambiance. Surelee herself was extremely accommodating with all of our requests. However, i did find that the fact that all the staff members were quite obviously ill and not wearing masks to be causing some discomfort. Particularly after covid.

If you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, i will definitely recommend this place! Our host, surelee here, was very sweet and full of energy! She even went out of her way to help us get transportation from Sapa to laos and kept in touch until we arrived safely. The rooms were small but comfortable. Food was good and you can go on many walks from here.

We had a great time at surelees homestay. The house is lovely and cozy. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. Sureleis family is very nice, openminded and helpful. Communication in english worked very well. We received countless information about activities and went on tk trekking. Food is also delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to visit north vietnam.

We stayed at the neighbors homestay but enjoyed a very delicious family dinner at surelee every evening. Surele is very kind and told us he also told me i have some history of vietnamese. We were really told they were booked because we would have switched to this home stay. They had really good Vietnamese food at cheap prices. Also tours and transportation here were cheaper. I recommend staying and eating at her place. Thank you so much for having us.
