I had a wonderful, peaceful time at the Castaways. Definitely the most enjoyable stop on my incredible ocean road trip! It is the most invigorating to listen to the magnificent waves of the ocean while sleeping. As already mentioned in previous reviews, it was extremely difficult to leave in the mornings while taking in the stunning views of the ocean and rolling hills from your breakfast table. The breakfast picnic was healthy and enjoyable. The rooms were large, cozy, well designed by the owners. Speaking of the owners, they couldn't have been nicer! Very passionate about ensuring that their guests have a great experience and have great ideas for all the activities you might want. The short hike up the hill behind the property offers amazing views and wildlife. Here, I took some of my favorite photographs! Thank you for a great experience! Until the next time, rob.

The breakfast basket was decent, albeit basic. The bathroom was terrible, with poor lighting and no place for toiletries. The room was spacious but dated, with a tiny kitchen in one corner and very cheap furniture. Our room was large but vintage, with basic channels and no wifi, so we had to go out for dinner. It was lovely to have large windows on both sides, but no blackout blinds. I was astonished when I first arrived that this accommodation wasn't in Apollo Bay but was out in scenes creek, so a taxi is required if you want to eat at dinner.

I will be back because I never see or hear anyone here, and it is only a minute's drive from Alpohol Bay. On our arrival, we were given a great breakfast basket. It was so relaxing because it was nice to be able to lie down and sip coffee while watching the views from the room.

I just spent three nights here with my partner, and we had a great time! What a lovely way to start the day is to look out over the ocean! I'm very pleased with the lodging and the proprietors. Although we were left to ourselves, having them nearby in case of problems provided some added peace of mind! The complimentary breakfast baskets containing granola and preserves from the neighboring region, which included granola and preserves, both had incredible care and attention to detail! Apollo Bay is only a 5-minute drive away but nevertheless unconcerned enough to be away from the bustle of travelers and the swarm of tourists! We're glad we discovered this property. I would certainly recommend this place to others, and I'd stay here again. Many thanks!.

What a stunning place this is, lying in bed or eating breakfast and looking out over the hills and the ocean. Incredibly well equipped breakfast box in the room with bread, cereals, spreads, fruit, juices, and milk. There are many dads to borrow if you feel like a very quiet night. Great, huge bathroom. The only drawback was no wifi and intermittent cellular data service. Close enough to the town that you can snap in for lunch or a little shopping, but far enough away to be completely quiet.
