When you pay top dollar for a rental, you anticipate quality. This was our second trip, and we were disappointed. We recommend visiting McDonald's Road's art gallery or the Watershed Gallery. It is conveniently located in a peaceful and lovely location and a suitable location for a weekend getaway in the Hunter Valley. For two couples, the accommodation is carefully equipped, and the bedrooms are roomy and cozy. Unfortunately, the accommodation has begun to appear old. The kitchen's light was inadequate because the rangehood in unit 1 was in need of repair and the lights weren't working. There was also insufficient crockery. There was also a lack of tableware. The lounge room's furniture seemed outdated, while some of it was simply uncomfortable. You anticipate high-quality when you rent for top-notch amenities. When we were in the hunter valley, we were let down by this.

The longhouse has everything you need for a quick hunter getaway. Each of the three units has two excellent unsuitable bedrooms, making it ideal for two couples. We were in unit 2, and one of the bedrooms has a fireplace. The common area has a kitchen, long bench, lounge area, fireplace, air conditioning, and full-height sliding doors leading to the verandah. Screens can be pulled across to keep insects out and to reduce sun light. The verandah also has a foldout awning. From the verandah and the communal area, there is a very tranquil view. The washer and dryer are contained in an internal laundry cupboard, and a balcony with outside table seats on the unit's car parking side. Although this bbd area is screened, it runs along all three units and is fairly private. Kangaroos could be seen around the longhouse each evening and morning. It would be helpful to have a power outlet on the kitchen bench, and we found the internet connection to be inconsistent. Apart from these two relatively minor issues, the longhouse is a fantastic option for hunting.

Although I like the area, the place is old and needs to be renovated. As a result of the secure doors in the room, there is no privacy, therefore it is recommended not to stay here if you want a romantic getaway. There are no cooking equipment or glassware, and there aren't much utensils provided. A deck outside the window is attractive, and it is a handy tool when the heat rises. The lounge area is cramped. I probably won't be back.

We stayed with another couple. Plenty of room for 2 couples. The bedrooms bathroom is a very good size and the bed is comfortable. Great relaxing on the verandah and not a problem for other families staying at the longhouse. The only problem we had was very bad wifi. Otherwise, we had a very nice time at the longhouse.
