I just stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. The family room we had was spacious and comfortable, the food was good with a wide variety. I had a few spa treatments which were really enjoyable. The surrounding area is beautiful, ideal for walking and cycling. Only a minor criticism would have to be that the waiters in the restaurants are not very friendly and not particularly accommodating to adjusting menus to certain dietary requirements. We were a large party for lunch and were told it would be appreciated if we only ordered the set menu because they were short staffed. And sometimes, the wrong meals were brought. Wifi is only available in the lobby. But we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The hotel has grown and been rebuilt over time. There is a huge wellness center in the hotel, which offers an array of beautiful pools and wellness areas, plus a sizable health treatment area with a wide variety of treatment options. Our standard double was 36 euros. The rooms are quite roomy. We had a chalkboard arrangement, the breakfast buffet is enormous with a wide selection of all types of cuisine, and the evening meal always offered three or four possibilities and was of good quality. On the plus side, unsurprisingly, is the service. Toiletries are very limited and aren't changed in the room. Cleanliness is questioned, when we arrived, the patio table offered us an ashtray with a halted smoked cigar in it, but when we got out, it was still there. There is no trash paper can in the apartment. Wifi is free, but it is only available in the lobby. The lobby bar is only a bar, with limited snacks, even a good selection of cakes. Most of the personnel are foreign, some very customer focused, but most undoubtedly not. At the wellness center reception, the ladies appeared to be suffering from a facial problem and were unable to grin at any time. We stayed for four nights. It was a family gathering. The rooms were comfortable and airy and equipped with the amenities you would expect. Our stay included a hefty breakfast and supper with two selections on the menu. There are alternative packages that are available. This hotel is a spa. Bad in German means bath or spa. The hotel offers a number of spa treatments and massages. There is a large outdoor pool with water features. There is a smaller indoor pool where morning exercises are offered next to a whirlpool. There are several saunas available for different purposes, such as dry, steam, or herb-scented air. They have a large solarium and an outdoor lawn for lounging. You may drink mineral water. A word of caution: the sauna surrounds a communal seating area and clothing is optional. This is Europe. The saunas are unisex. The majority of those sitting here are in robes, but if a little bit of bare popo offends you, be warned. The kitchen serves tasty meals. There are numerous restaurant areas for walkin guests and groups. The bregenzer wald is in the state or province of Vorarlberg, close to Switzerland.
